They were standing on the hills around the land where their enemy will come find them. "What are we supposed to do?" Eressia asked Lalaith as they waited.

"Wait here." Was the reply. Lalaith moved towards the clear field. She looked up at the sky and closed her eyes. The clouds covered the sky and lightning struck the ground around her. And ghostly figures started appearing all around the place. So they really wanted me to summon them. Lalaith thought and looked at her comrades. They jumped from the hill and joined her. This war was only between the nobles and the spirits.

"Is everyone ready?" Lalaith asked and looked up at the sky.

"That we are." Eressia was the one who answered. This was the first and the last war they were going to fight with magic not with weapons. As the spirits moved towards them, Lalaith released her powers and Halias closed his eyes, giving her his strength. Pelendur raised his index finger towards the sky and whispered something. Lily, Blue and Telchar raised their arms on their sides and turned into shadows. The ground shook badly as they released their powers together.

The spirits moved towards them with as much speed as they could. Lalaith clenched her fists and lightning struck the spirits, killing few of them. Lily moved forwards with her speed of light. Duilin and Denethor followed behind her. Hiril and Tulkas followed them closely. Duilin and Denethor transformed into wolves as they run towards the spirits. Shisen ran to the opposite direction. Blue and Telchar ran at the sides. The seven emperors spoke the prophecy and formed the circle.

On Nessa's command, Black Riders moved forwards to take over the spirits. The trees around the area moved there roots on Adrenal's command. Silver and Gold powers rose towards the sky and spread all around the area. Eressia looked around at everyone. She was clueless. You must use as less powers as possible, Eressia Pallando Saint. The more powers you use the quickly you die and lose emotions. Lalaith's words echoed in her head. She looked at everyone fighting with the spirits and took a deep breath. She drew her sword and took steps forwards. She raised her sword towards the sky and closed her eyes. Lalaith glanced around her and smirked. Before Eressia could possess the powers of the seven emperors, Lalaith closed her eyes and started absorbing their powers. Eressia opened her eyes in shock and looked at Lalaith.

What the hell are you doing? How can she command the Seven Emperors?

Halias turned around and gasped as Lalaith crossed her limits of using powers. "Lalaith, stop it. Now!" He shouted and she opened her eyes. The spirits moved towards her with anger and grief. She raised her arms at her sides. Small colourful lights, like fireflies appeared all around her and as she clenched her fists, all the lights spread around and attacked the spirits. Few of the spirits vanished. Lalaith fell on her knees gasping for breath. One of the spirit stopped in front of her and grabbed her from her neck and forced her on her feet. Halias ran towards them as fast as he could. Eressia was the only one who was closer to them. She turned around to face Lalaith and the spirit.

"You die." The spirit whispered and a chill ran down her spine.

"None of you will be able to rule over this world." Lalaith smirked and stabbed her sword through the spirit's heart. She fell on the ground as the spirit vanished. Halias lifted her head in his arms and helped her on her feet.

"You okay?" He asked as they watched others fighting.

"Don't worry about me." She said seriously. Her eyes fell on Midas who was fighting alone with four spirits. "He will soon need help. I shall go now." She said and smiled at him. Halias nodded and both of them parted ways.

Soon Lalaith joined Midas and started fighting alongside him. Halias joined Uinen and continued his fighting. Midas smiled as he glanced at Lalaith over his shoulder. They were getting tired before half of the spirits were gone. "Form the circle!" Lalaith commanded and all of the nobles moved backwards, where she stood.
