The twins sat crossed-legged on the floor of their family's home. Both their parents sat around them, along with Ahsoka. Bits of metal and a crystal were on the floor in front of them.
"Ready?" Ahsoka asked them. The two kids took a deep breath before nodding at the Togrutan. Luke closed his eyes, reaching out with the Force, Leia doing the same. Slowly, Luke imagined the pieces of his saber coming together, to form something amazing. Anakin watched his children, pride in his eyes. Padme grabbed her husbands arm, leaning on him with a smile on her face. Luke's lightsaber was completed first, revealing one very similar to his father's. He grinned as he ignited it, the green blade shining bright. He turned to Leia, who was deep in concentration with her own. Within another moment, hers pieced together, forming a double sided saber. Eyes wide, she grabbed hold of the hilt, activating her new weapon.
"Wow." She breathed when a purple glow mingled Luke's green one. Anakin's eyes widened at the unusual color. He watched as his daughter grinned, giving it a small spin. The purple blades whirled, coasting an eerie light in the room.
"Well done, you two." Ahsoka grinned at her students. She glanced at Anakin, who gave her a small nod. "Why don't we try sparring?" The twins practically jumped up and down in excitement. Using the Force, the adults pushed the furniture away, providing adequate space. Except for Padme, who had to use her hands. Anakin pulled out his own saber, nodding at Leia. Ahsoka did the same for Luke. Padme watched, amused. The twins definitely had their father's skills, and their teacher had done well in instructing them. The crackling sounds of lightsabers colliding echoed in the small room along with children's eager giggles.
"I have an amazing family." Padme whispered to herself.
Okay, that kinda sucked in my opinion. But, it was just a filler chapter. How did you like the lightsaber description? I felt like Leia needed to have a unique saber, just like her unique personality. And with Luke's, well, it's the same one you see in Return of the Jedi. I hope this little bit of fluffy randomness was good!
