*fights off Sith for update* Hey y'all! I hope you like this next chapter!
Sweat streamed down Luke's face as he pressed his blade into Leia's purple one. She fought back, the other end of the saber cutting into the ground of the desolate planet they were on. The group often came here to have training space. Both twins were deep in concentration, being watched by their teacher, who stood off to the side. The Togrutan female studied their movements thoughtfully, making mental notes on what to correct. Still, she was amazed by the two fifteen year olds power in the Force.
Leia felt herself losing ground as Luke swiped his own lightsaber, forcing her to go on the defensive. His attacks were graceful and calculated, while Leia scrambled to block them with choppy jerks of her saber. Still, she watched carefully for an opening, waiting. As soon as she saw it, Leia took her chance. She deactivated her saber, and swept her legs into her brothers. The teen boy collapsed to the ground his lightsaber falling away. He attempted to pull himself up, but was stopped by the purple blade of Leia's lightsaber. Luke rolled his eyes when Leia gave a flick of her ponytail, which was her latest favorite hairstyle.
"Well done, you two." Ahsoka told them. Smiles lit up their faces at the praise. Ahsoka then began to point out each thing they could've done better, and with each bit of critique, the smiles fell. The older Jedi seemed to realize what she was doing. "Don't get discouraged. I used to make just as many mistakes, if not more." The twins still looked crestfallen, but perked up a little at the encouragement. "You two are very strong, but don't let it go to your head. Pride will be your downfall." Suddenly, the Togrutan whipped her lightsabers out, igniting them. "Get into the ship!" She hissed, her eyes wandering over the grassy area. The Jedi's gaze moved along, until it came to a stop on the small forest just off in the distance. Vaguely, she noted that the twins had gotten to the ship, but still stood at the entrance, sabers at the ready. Ahsoka reached out with the Force, wincing at the waves of malice that pummeled her. She glanced back to Luke and Leia, who had sensed it too.
"Sith...." Leia whispered. Darkness seemed to radiate from the wooded area. Whispered echoed in Luke's mind, but one stood out more than the others.
The Jedi betrayed me.The words bounced around in the boy's mind. It seemed to be the sole thought that propelled the Sith.
"Ahsoka needs to get out of there!" Luke told his sister quietly. Ahsoka turned her head slightly, appearing to have heard him. But before she could respond, the sound of a lightsaber being ignited sang out. The twins stared into the woods, were a gleaming red light could be seen. And it was coming closer.
"Get into the ship now!" Ahsoka shouted. The Sith leapt at the Togrutan Jedi, their lightsaber colliding with a flash. Ahsoka dove out from under the blade's grip, keeping herself between the Sith and the twins.
"We're not leaving you!" Leia yelled back, trying to scramble out of the ship. Her saber gleamed as she ignited it.
"More Jedi..." the masked Sith's voice came out as a warble. Ahsoka shook her head as an overwhelming feeling clouded her senses. This was not a fight she could win. Not while protecting Luke and Leia. She swung her saber at the Sith, who brought their own up just in time to block the blow. The Togrutan glanced back to see the twins exiting the ship, prepared to fight.
"No!" She cried out. The Sith turned to them, apparently forgetting about Ahsoka. That was their mistake. The Togrutan tackled the Sith, bringing both of them to the ground. She rolled over top of the struggling form, once again putting herself between the Sith and her students. "You will never touch them." She spat. Ahsoka turned to the twins, and gave them a reassuring smile. She then reached out her hand, connecting with the Force. Luke's eyes widened, realizing what she was about to do.
