I knew I didn't stand a chance against Ranveer but I wasn't gonna go down without a fight.
When the official said to start I charged at him with out thinking. I infused my fire energy into my sword and tried to cut him with it.
No matter how hard I tried he dodged everyone of my attacks effortlessly.
I decided to attack from a distance.
I backflipped several times to get farther away, but add a little flare.
"FIRE WALL!" I yelled
I released a tall wall of fire straight at him. He swallowed every last bit of it and smiled creepily.
"Thanks for the meal. Now it's my turn." He said to me.
I stared back at him trembling with fear.
He charged at me and started to fire an endless amount of punches and kicks at me.
Every time he knocked me down I got back up, only to get knocked down again. I wasn't prepared to give up.
"Just forfeit already!" He yelled at me.
I lay vulnerably on the ground with bruises all over my body. Every single cell in my body was experiencing excruciating pain.
I slowly got to my feet, and ran as fast as I could towards him.
"You don't know when to give up do you." He said to me. "FIRE FIST!"
He ignited his hand with fire and threw a massive punch at my face.
I flew from one end of the platform to the other.
"I'm surprised that I haven't died yet." I thought to myself.
I still had so much fight in me left. I knew from the moment the fight began I would lose, but I stayed true to my word and didn't give up.
"I might as well finish you off now." He said to me.
He kicked me in the gut as hard as he could.
I collapsed to the ground but didn't fall off yet.
I had given up.
I didn't wanna feel pain anymore.
I army crawled my way over to the edge of platform so that I could fall off and get this over with.
"Oh no you don't." Ranveer said to me.
He literally grabbed my ankles and dragged me to the middle of the platform.
He rolled me over so that I was facing him, and he started to beat me with his own two hands.
The audience gasped in shock. They didn't expect Ranveer to do something like this to me.
He kept beating me for another few minutes and then I raised my hand as a signal that I was giving up.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. The two finalists for grade 8 Fire. Zaid and Ranveer." The official said.
Not many people applauded. They were too disappointed in Ranveer.
I'm just glad that that was over.
