Just as I promised, since I finished 781 Agency, I'm back to writing The School Of Elements! Enjoy!
*BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP *
The sound of my irritating alarm clock woke me up. I opened my eyes and let out a huge yawn. I stretched, rubbed my eyes, and slapped my alarm clock to the ground.
I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. I looked into the mirror and saw what looked like a tumbleweed on my head. I grabbed a hair brush and brushed my hair down until it was nice and smooth. I brushed my teeth, scrolled through Instagram, and walked over to my dresser drawer thingy. I opened it up and pulled out my silky brown uniform. I quickly put it on and walked out the door.
I walked down the stairs and made my way to the dining hall. I walked in and saw that everyone was already eating, and most were done.
"Eesha!" I heard someone hiss.
It was Keya.
"Breakfast ends in 15 minutes!" She said.
"What? That's crazy." I said. "It's 7:45 and breakfast starts at 8."
"No." She responded. "Breakfast starts at 7 and ends at 8. There's not much food left, so get over here. I saved you a seat."
I sat down and examined the food around me. There were mostly empty plates, but I spotted a plate of toast and hash browns. I picked it up and chomped on it as fast as I could.
"Goooooood morning everybody!" I heard Mr. Chachinsky say into the microphone. "I hope you all slept well. Now, before I announce the matches for today, I would like to congratulate Gravis; Master of Gravity, and Turner; Master of Speed for their victories yesterday."
"When did Turner win?" I asked Zaid.
"You were probably asleep. The match lasted for 6 hours before Turner killed Alvin." Zaid explained.
"He killed him!!!" I whispered.
"Oh yeah. It was ugly." Zaid replied.
I turned my head towards Mr. Chachinsky and continued listening to his announcement.
"Now, let's see who is fighting today.
At 1:00 PM we have Zaid; Master of Fire vs Heather; Master of Mirror
At 7:30 PM we have Eesha; Master of Earth vs Tristan; Master of Animalia
Good luck!"
Zaid - Fire
1:00 PM
"I'm nervous you guys." I said.
"Relax, you'll be fine." Keya reassured me.
"But I've never even seen this girl fight! I don't know her abilities. I don't know how to fight her." I said.
"You're smart Zaid. You'll figure it out." Eesha told me.
"Can Zaid; Master of Fire and Heather; Master of Mirror please make their way to the arena? Thank you."
I made my way to the arena and stepped on the large platform. I stared down my opponent and checked to see if she had any weapons on her. From what I could see, she had a mirror and a knife. I assumed that her ability would be to reflect any techniques her opponent used, so I knew far range attacks would be futile. I decided that close range battle is my best bet.
"FIGHT!" The official yelled.
I watched as she pulled out her single mirror and held it up to her face. Somehow, one mirror turned into a whole stack of them. She began to throw them everywhere on the arena floor as if she was dealing a deck of cards. She then jumped onto a mirror and disappeared into it. I watched as she then emerged from a mirror to my left and pulled out her knife.
I lit my fist on fire and punched her right in the gut. She landed on top of a mirror and sunk into it, flying out of another one like a volcanic eruption.Mid air, she pulled out 5 knives and threw them at me. I rolled to the left and dodged them, landing on top of a mirror. However, I just sat on top of it. I didn't fall through or anything which was kinda strange.
I got up and decided it was time to attack.
"Fire flame!" I yelled.
I stuck out my hand and a long flame emerged from it. She held up a mirror to her face and it reflected the fire back towards me. I dodged quickly and pulled out a knife. I infused it with fire and threw it with pin point accuracy at her face. She held up a mirror, but instead of going through it, the knife pierced right through the mirror and whizzed over her head.
And then I got an idea.
I pulled out 10 Knives and threw each of them at a mirror that was laying on the ground. Each of those mirrors shattered, and I continued to break them. She jumped into a mirror, and just as she was about to emerge out of another one, I shattered it. I then forced her to fly out of another mirror.
Just as she emerged out of a mirror, I pulled out my meteor gun and fired a scorching hot meteor at her. She held up a mirror and the meteor bounced back towards me. I picked up an unshattered mirror and held it up infront of me. Instead of bouncing back, the meteor got sucked into the mirror.
Terrified, she looked at all of the mirrors to see which one would have a meteor shooting out of it. Lucky for me, it was the mirror right below her. The meteor sent her flying into the air, scorching the skin on her left leg. While she was in the air, I shattered 7 out of the 8 unshattered mirrors. She landed in the last one that was in tact, and I destroyed it with a knife. There were no more mirrors for her to come out of. She was trapped.
"By default, The winner is Zaid; Master of Fire!" The official said.
