Laaibah - Wind

"Can Laaibah; Master of Wind, and Gravis; Master of Gravity please make their way to the arena? Thank you." Said the voice on the PA.

I walked to the arena room and rode the little platform to the actual arena.

I stared down my opponent. He was meditating... while levitating...

Kinda weird.

I still wasn't 100% from my fight with Karl. My shoulders were a little sore and I was really tired.

"FIGHT!" Yelled the official.

He flew towards me with a knife in his hand and a devilish look on his face. He got really close to me and I pulled out my knife.

Then something weird happened.

My knife flew out of my hand without me or him doing anything and it fell into the water below.

So this is his power.

He can use the power of gravity to move himself and objects.

He attacked me with his knife and he cut my cheek. I kicked him away and he flew back. I started running towards him but something was wrong. My legs were extremely heavy. It took me a ton of effort to walk.

So he can use gravity to weigh things down too...

Dang this guy is gonna be hard to beat.

He flew up into the air and levitated an endless amount of weapons around him. He launched every single one of them at me.

"Wind gust!" I Exclaimed.

My gust of wind sent the weapons flying back at him. He used his powers in attempt to fire them back at me.

While I was constantly yelling;

"Wind gust!"

"Wind gust!"

"Wind gust!"

He was there effortlessly pushing them back towards me. I stopped using Wind powers and immediately pulled out a shield. I ducked and put it in front of me.

I could feel all of the weapons crashing into the metal shield.

I stood up and looked at my shield. There were dents everywhere from the weapons. Yikes.

He stood on the ground and pulled out a spear. He used his powers to launch it at me at full speed. I couldn't move. My legs were still being pulled towards the ground to hard for me to resist.

"Tornado!" I yelled.

The tornado I generated swallowed the spear and sent it flying away. That was a huge relief.

I had no idea how I was gonna be able to attack him...

I had to attack when he was distracted. After a little while of elaborating, I had come up with a plan. I was gonna waste a lot of weapons though.

I rolled my sleeve up a little bit and pulled out my special watch. My sister gave it to me for my birthday a few years ago. Apparently it can make random objects appear out of thin air. I typed in:

"Tennis ball launcher"

I dumped the tennis balls out and filled it with knives. Gravis just kind of stared at me with a blank expression on his face. He didn't even bother to attack. I pressed the big red button on the launcher and a barrage of knives began flying at him. Immediately, he began to knock every single one away. While he was in the middle of the distraction, I yelled;

"Hurricane!"

A huge hurricane came flying at him. He dropped onto the floor and seemed to be glued to it. My plan backfired. He weighed himself down... He's smart.

Before I knew it, Gravis began to levitate me into the air using his powers. Mid-air, Gravis' powers began to push me towards the water. I looked down and saw a huge pool with crystal clear water just waiting for me to fall into it.

He stopped his gravity powers and dropped me into the water. I sank to the bottom of the pool before swimming back up to get a breath of air, and hear the official say;

"The winner of this match is Gravis; Master of Gravity!"
