Hey guys. Really short chapter here. The next one I publish will be longer don't worry. Also, over 600 reads woohoo! I'm hoping to hit 1000 by the time I finish the book, and that'll take a little while so I think it's possible.
"OW!" I screamed.
I was sitting on a chair in the nurse's office. My body hurt so much after me and Laaibah's fight. My back, my legs, my arms.
I had to know how my body was. If I'm beat up that bad, I'll be disqualified and Laaibah will fight Arwen instead of me.
It was all because of the tornado that she made. I fell flat on my back and every part of my body was in pain. I heard a huge crack in my back and it hurts to move.
I heard a knock on the door and I heard the knob turn.
"Nurse Connel thank goodness you're-"
It wasn't the nurse.
It was Laaibah.
"Hey." She said.
"Hey." I responded.
"How you feeling?" She asked.
"Other than the fact that every cell in my body hurts, nothing much." I said. "You know that if I'm not good enough to fight, they'll disqualify me. You'll take my place."
"I know." She said. "And that's why I'm here. I'm gonna make sure that happens."
