First of all, 800 reads! That's amazing! Thanks for all the support. Now, let's get back to the story. It's a little short but it's not supposed to be a super important chapter.
We were hanging out in the lounge room when I heard a voice on the PA.
"All students participating in the tournament please make your way over to the arena room. I repeat, all students participating in the tournament please make your way over to the arena room."
"Let's go." I said.
We walked into the arena room and couldn't believe my eyes. It was a massive arena. Way bigger than the one at our school. There were like thousands of audience seats

It was incredible.
A woman walked into the arena room to give an announcement.
"Everybody follow me to the arena." She said.
It was really high up, surrounded by water just like the one at my school. There was an entrance to get to it on the top, but we were on the bottom.
We all stepped on mini platforms that soon elevated us up high enough to step onto the arena. We all stood on the platform in a clump like formation in front of the woman."Alright everyone listen up. My name is Amanda, and I'll be telling you the rules and regulations for this tournament." She said. "In your school tournament, you would win if your opponent is unable to fight, forfeits, or falls off the platform. In this tournament, you win if your opponent is unable to fight, forfeits, falls off the platform, or dies."
What did she just say?
"Wait, so you mean we can kill people?" Asked a boy.
"Yes. That is correct. All weapons and techniques are valid. Also, the matchups were made randomly. So if you're matched up with someone from your school, or someone who counters your element, it's not our fault." She said.
That was a complete shock.
"Now. Everyone look at the screen to your left." She said, pointing to a screen to her left. "Here's the bracket that shows who you will be fighting."
I searched for my name and finally found it.
I was up against a girl named Ronnie, a black magic user. Laaibah was up against Karl, a metal user. Zaid was up against Parker, a magnet user.
We weren't gonna fight for a few more hours, so we decided to just sit back and relax for a little while.
Let the tournament begin.
