Alexis' POV
I rush back into reality. I still don't understand what they mean. She is going to change this business. Once and for all. I start to panic and the sooner I know it my breathing thickens and I start to see a dark starry night.

"Alexis, my sweet?" I blink a couple of times to the wake up call of Kaden's melting voice. I look up at him and then look around to see a couple of middle aged people standing around me.
"What happened?" I look around once more to remember that I freaked out over what Mr. and Mrs. Amber said. She is going to change this business. Once and for all. I sigh and look back at Kaden. He cups my cheeks in his hands and put the back of his hand on my forehead, checking for any heat.
"You passed out, my sweet, are you okay?" I nod at him reaching up to hug him as he snakes his arms around my tiny waist, while I put my arms on his shoulders. He helps me up as if I was a bag of feathers. I pull back and look over as I see Mr. and Mrs. Amber entering the room. Mrs. Amber looks down at me as she looks around my face.
"Are you okay, miss Alexis?" She asks me as she puts an arm on the table beside my arms. I nod at her. She backs away and calls someone over with the strut of her fingers. "Get her a limo ride home, I want to insure her safety." She smiles at me, showing her white pearls as her smile lines roll through, rough but sweet. "Kaden, you may join to take her home if you'd like." Kaden nods and smiles at me. He picks me up bridal style making sure that I was safety secure in his arms. I wrap my arms around his shoulders as he takes me outside and into our limo. He lays me down on the seat and puts my legs over his lap. I put a hand on his lower arm and smile at him.
"How was I ever lucky enough to find you." I smile at him and giggle. He looks back at me and grins lovingly.
"I am thinking the same thing. You're so pure and precious; and gentle and selfless." He smiles at me and leans over my face. "I love you." He nuzzles into my neck and smiles against my skin. His hot breath fanning my skin. That's the first time he has ever said I love you. I smile a big grin and I put my arms over his head. Brushing his hair out with my fingers.
"I love you too." I retort back to him, a full smile running across my face from ear to ear. The few minutes it takes getting to my house we cuddle there in silence. The limo comes to a halt and Kaden helps me outside and walks me to the door. He rings the doorbell and my aunt appears.
"Thank you for taking her home, you two really are in love." She says as I look at Kaden smiling with a full face of pink tinted love on my face. He looks back at me and kisses my forehead.
"Your niece is a real great young lady, that's for sure." He says as she smiles at me, crossing her arms over her lap, tying together. I kiss Kaden goodbye and I walk upstairs to get ready to sleep. I check my texts.
3 messages. I smile at myself and scroll throw them.
Text Luna and I when you are well enough to. We love you. Chloe's text makes me smile.
I swipe my dad's message and ignore it as I type with my fingers.
Dad, as much as I did love you. This is my time, I'm in love with Kaden and as much as I hate to say it, I'm done looking for you. Being lost without a father isn't any fun, and I wish you the best life. Love, Alexis.
I send the text. I love my dad, and I always will. But he cannot stop me from being happy, and being with someone who brings the best in me out. I had to choose to be shunned from my father or lose my boyfriend, the one who has always been there. I chose Kaden. I love Kaden, and my father cannot stop me from that.
