Alexis' POV
I decided to fall asleep to my tear stained cheeks. When I wake up I feel as if the whole day before was a dream, but it wasn't. The hard truth hits me again and I decide to check my phone.
11 messages. I frown and look at them. I see Kaden's messages and I begin to read them.
Let me explain, Alexis. I didn't mean to hurt you.
What you say wasn't real.
You don't know what you say.
You know I love you, please message me back, my sweet.
I'll try to message you later.
Remember, I love you. I roll my eyes at the messages. Tears begin to stream down my face again, the photo of Kaden and Sasha kissing replaying over my head again and again. I frown and wipe my tears. I grab my computer and I look for flights to somewhere elsewhere than here. Ashton comes into my room and peaks his head inside. I move over so he can sit on my bed."Kaden explained to me what happened," He sighs and I begin to cry again. "I think you should listen to him." I shake my head.
"I don't think I can." I say as my voice cracks, tears streaming down my cheeks again. I wipe them away and look at Ashton. He hugs me and I hug back, finally pulling away after a few minutes. "Do you want to go to Hawaii or something with me?" I ask and look up, a surprised look flashes over his eyes. He nods a bit and tilts his head to each side. I look back on my computer and book two flights for Hawaii and I book a hotel room. I want to leave as soon as possible so I decide to book it for April 10, 2018. Two days from now.
---
Two days later, Monday and Tuesday Kaden tried to talk to me and I just ignored him the whole time. Chloe and Luna were always there giving me hugs and letting me talk it out with the. But Ashton and I are on the way to Hawaii. We are driving to the airport, all of our bags in the back of his BMW. I text Chloe and Luna saying I'm going on vacation for time off and away from any drama. They decided that that would be a good idea. We board the plan fifty three minutes later. I try to fall asleep and dream about anything but Kaden. But I dream about the same thing I have for the past few days; Kaden and Sasha kissing. I wake up to Ashton shaking me. I feel my cheeks being wet as I pat them dry. I've woken up in tears this whole past few days. We land in Hawaii and are welcomed there with a few people in Hawaiian skirts down to their knees and pretty shirts. They hand us leis around our necks. I am handed one with light pink flowers and Ashton is handed one with white flowers. I smile at him.
"There's that smile I have missed on my sister." He laughs and wraps an arm around my neck pulling me to his chest and fluffing my hair up. I shake my head and flatten my hair back down once I am released from his grasp. "What do you wanna do first?" He said as we walk near the street to call an Uber.
"Get to the hotel." I snicker. He nods.
"Fair enough." He laughs and an Uber temporarily parks beside the road. It's a black Suburban and we hop into the car. Welcomed by a man, he looked like he was about twenty-four. His dirty blonde hair was wavy, seemed like he was near the beach. He had green eyes and a few freckles laced his face. I hopped into the back and Ashton took the front seat. I toss his bags in the seat beside me. I smile, knowing I'm finally in Hawaii. I love Hawaii and here we are. First things first, I want to go to the beach. It's been a while since I've seen I've seen the blue waters. The last time I was actually in a bikini, I was at the lake in Michigan. It was cold, and not very enjoyable. I laugh at my thoughts. The Uber driver and Ashton were talking about how long he's been a driver here in Hawaii.
"I've been here for four years." He pauses and takes a right turn. Letting the maps on his iPhone 7 lead the way to the hotel. We turn into the hotel. "But I will be going back to another beach in August this year, California!" He says laughing and helping us get our bags to the hotel. I get my bags and last minute I almost fall, the driver comes behind me and catches me. "Are you okay?" I nod and smile at him. He lastly puts a roll of paper in my hand. I tuck it in my pocket because my hands are full, and walk into the hotel to get my key.
"Room number 321, and welcome to Hawaii." The lady at the front says to me. She has white hair.
