No one was in the common room when I got back, but that wasn't surprising. Potions was my last class of the day because I had double potions. Luckily, it was a nice day so I decided to head outside.

I went down to the lake to sit on the sand. I ended up under a tree and leaning up against it. I close my eyes for a second and the next thing I knew, Harry was jumping on top of me. He knocked me over so that I wasn't against the tree anymore and I was on the ground.

"Harry. Now I have sand in my hair." I said in a whiny voice.

"Lexi." He said in the same tone.

"I hate you." I mumbled as he let me up. However, I only got halfway up.

"What did you say?" He asked while his hands got into position to tickle me. I know he saw my eyes widen because a smirk came on his face.

"Only that you're the bestest best friend ever bro." I said persuasively.

"Okay, sissy!" He said while getting off me and laying next to me.

I rolled my eyes.See what I meant though? We have a brother and sister relationship and he always calls me sissy because he knows that I hate it.

I sat up and saw everyone else running across the grounds towards us. As they were coming towards us, I tried to get the sand out of my hair and off my robes. Let me just tell you there was a lot of it too.

Hermione came over when they reached us and she tried to help me. There was just too much though. The girls stayed out with the guys while I went inside to try to wash this out of my hair.

I washed the sand out of my hair with great difficulty. I had finally gotten it all out so I started to head towards the gates. I was almost out the door when someone grabbed my waist and pulled me into a closet.

I was a about to yell at the person, then I noticed who it was. It was Malfoy.

“You do know that in order to lock someone in a closet you have to be outside of the closet right?” I said sarcastically.

“Trust me. I know. It’s not a prank or anything I just wanted to do this.” He said. And before I could say another word, he was kissing me.

At first, I was in shock and I didn’t move. Then as the kiss went on, I responded. My hands slowly moved up his arms to his neck where they circled themselves around it. My fingers went to the nape of his neck and started to tangle my fingers in his hair.

We only broke the kiss because I needed air. I stared at him for a few minutes and when I had caught my breath, I pulled his mouth back to mine. This kiss was more passionate than the other one. It was like we were in a timeless bubble, but bubbles always pop sooner or later. We broke away again, but this time I kept my arms linked around his neck.

“I have to go. My friends are probably wondering where I am.” I whispered to him.

“No. I want you to stay with me.” He whispered as he pulled me impossibly closer.

“I will meet you back in here after dinner, okay?” I bargained.

“Okay.” He said reluctantly.

I pecked his lips a couple more times until the frown on his face went away. I pulled away and left the closet.

I knew that I looked flushed as I ran down to the lake. I arrived down there and they all looked at me expecting an explanation.

“ Sorry, it took forever to get the sand out of my hair and then I got distracted. Then i looked at the time and noticed how long I had taken.” I said as I sat down next to Harry.

“It’s okay.” They all chorused.

After a while we all went inside to have some down time before dinner. I had planned to go to the library but I couldn’t stop daydreaming about Draco. He filled my mind in everything I did so I decided to just read one of my personal books to make it look like I was busy when I couldn’t even concentrate on one word of the book. I was really looking forward to dinner.

I'm extremely sorry that it took so long. I thought that I update since then. I'm super sorry.I hope you like this chapter though. ~Peighton
