The Misadventures of Captain Joe and His Band of Crazies

Cocktopus (Part 1)

As the gang boards the ship, Joe is the pack mule carrying most of the girls things while Lexi and Ellison are happy dancing away and Shelby's looking around at the size of everything. "This is huge" she says in wow, aweing but making sure to stay close to the group before Joe grunts out "That's what she said", trying to keep all 5 suitcases in hand. As she covers her ears in disgust, the other 3 erupt into a fit of giggles and snorts, even poor Bella who was trying to keep her important phone conversation to a minimum on the dick jokes. Shelby covers her face and shutters "I- I didn't... want to hear that" as Ellison pulls her into her side, sighing happily "you know it's gonna be like this the whole cruise". With a groan from Shelby, Bella hangs up her phone and drawls out "would you rather us get you drunk so you'll just tune him out?" with a grin. Glaring at Bella, Shelby only grumbles "Bella, no".

After getting room keys and directions which Joe very much resented having to ask for, the crazies head to their rooms, all conveniently connected otherwise all would end up in the same room. "Look what I found" Lexi grins, waving a piece of paper around as the rest just stare at it confused. "And what would that be?" Joe groans, tossing his hat onto a chair as the rest wait for a response. Lexi chuckles and speaks up, reviling "Apparently since it's so close to Halloween, they've got a costume party going on tonight and a temporarily opened Halloween store downstairs. I call French Maid costume!". "Oh my god yes!!!!" Bella squeals, jumping up and grabbing Joe's hand to drag him with her. "Oh no" Shelby laughs, just picturing the shenanigans that are bound to go down at that Halloween party. Ellison walks over to the door, opening and holding it opened for everyone else before Joe motions for an exhausted Shelby to walk out the door, receiving nothing but a groan and a plead of "Do I have to go too?". "If I do, so do you" he tiredly chuckles waiting on her to stand up, which never happens. "Shelby come on. Am I gonna have to drag your ass?". Lifting her head slightly she asks with a laugh, "Is that an option? I'm fucking tired".

Lexi's POV

"Ass out the door". Everyone holds in their giggles at Joe standing there, hand on hip, pointing out the door. I know how this Halloween thing is going to go. Bella is going to love this, Ellison is going to want to turn in early, Joe will have his hands full with just Bella alone and Shelby will most likely wander off somewhere quiet. Just barely finishing my thought, I absolutely lose it when Bella stomps over, grabbing Shelby by the hand and pulls her off the bed, mumbling angrily about getting Shelby laid for once. "Oh hell no", Shelby smirks and jerks Bella up off her feet and over her shoulder before walking out the door as Joe demanded. Being the tallest and oddly strongest of the girls, she had the ability to do this and would often show it off proudly. "Papa! A little help?" Bella asks while hanging upside-down as Shelby struts down the hallway, us three following while laughing like loons. "She's doing my job for me. I'd give it five minute if she puts you down before your over my shoulder instead" He laughs, following closely behind Shelby as I try to make my way to the front of the loud group to lead everyone to the Halloween store on deck. Bella lets out a loud pouty huff and I catch Ellison out of the corner of my eye videoing the hilarious pair as they wander down the halls.

3rd Person POV

Seconds after setting foot into the Halloween store Bella squeals in excitement and Shelby finally puts her down but not before Joe wraps an arm around her waist to keep her from taking off into the large store full of ghoulish goodies. "I'm getting a tiara" Bella smiles up at him only earning a sigh, Joe pinching the bridge of his nose and slightly smiling before mumbling to her "Alright, little one". Not five minutes into looking around Lexi, Bella and Shelby all exchange knowing looks and smirks before Lexi grabs a sexy nurse costume off a rack before turning to Ellison. "You're wearing this!!". One good look at the costume and Ellison rolls her eyes and places her hands on her hips. "There is a snowballs chance in hell that I am wearing that. You know how much I complain about those things" she gripes, glaring at the three as they pout and beg before hearing Joe chuckle to her, "You know they ain't gonna leave you alone until you at least try it on". With a sigh Ellison grabs the costume and stomps off to the changing rooms. "I'll try it on but there's no way I'm wearing this tonight. Y'all hear me?".

"Alright, come on out sister" Lexi calls out standing outside the changing room with the rest of the crew before Ellison struts out in the costume that the rest picked out smirking. "Y'all win. I do look good" she raves, smoothing her hands down the material of the bodysuit as the group giggles and cheers, Bella loudly whistling and Lexi thrusting her fist in the air with a "Hell yeah!". "You're getting that!", all 4 say at the same exact time as Ellison sighs and shakes her head, laughing. "Let me go put it back in the bag and Joe we're going to find yours next" she says, turning on her heel strutting back into the changing room as a look of confusion envelops Joes' face. "Um.... Little one? Why was I not told I'm dressing up?", he glances down at Bella standing next to him as she smiles and grins up at him "Because I didn't decide you were until just now". With a heavy sigh, growling at the ceiling he mutters to himself "Well fuck".......(To be continued)
