Chapter 4

Kate's POV
As I opened my eyes I panicked a little, then realized I'm on the bus. I quickly reach out for my phone to check my missed calls again. There's about a ton from Sydney and one from someone I never want to see again my father. Maybe I should just call Sydney back.
*Ringing her phone*

"Hello?" I hear her say

"Syd?" I asked

"Oh my god Kate it's you! Are you ok? What happened?! Why haven't you answered my calls?! I've been so worried!" She spoke all at once

"One thing at a time please. It's a little hard to focus right now." My head is hurting a lot from yesterday's events.

"Ok well then , Where are you?" She asked. I could hear the annoyance in her voice.

"Um... I don't think you are going to believe where I currently am and I'm not gonna tell you because I don't wanna be found." I said unsure of why else to say.

"No you need to tell me Kate. I'm your best friend I deserve to know. Please?" She asked

"Sydney I can't I just called to tell you that I am okay and I'm safe right now. I have to go." I responded with tears beginning to form in my eyes.

"Fine Kate be that way. I'm just glad your okay. Please call me again soon and let me know your not lying dead on a street somewhere." she said

"Okay I will." I answered convincingly

"Promise?" She asked

"Promise." I responded just below a whisper not wanting the girls to wake up.

And with that the line went dead. I love Sydney but I don't want her to try and come after me because it could clue my father to where my location is. I looked at the time on my phone. 6:39. Ew it's so early. But today is Friday. Oh that's right I would have been in school today. That's why she was up so early and probably why I woke up so early. Stupid alarm clock in my head. I guess I can try and go back to sleep for now because my head is spinning.

Camila's POV

I am not a morning person. What time is it? Oh it's 10:30 in the morning. Wait today is our day off. Maybe I should go wake Kate up I mean I need to talk to her about why she was in New York City. Why was she in our dressing room? And how did she get injured with all those scars, bruises, cuts,etc?
I swing my legs out of my bunk and get up. I go over to Kate's bunk and slowly pull the curtain, making sure I don't startle her. She's sound asleep. I don't know if I should let her sleep in longer or if I should wake her up.

"Let her sleep. It's still pretty early." I hear Lauren's voice come out of no where.

I close her curtain slowly and walk over to the back room where Lauren was.

"How long have you been up?" I ask her. She looks pretty tired.

"A few hours. I heard her talking, I guess she was maybe on the phone or something but I'm not sure." She said

As I was about to answer I heard a phone ringing. It was coming from Kate's bunk. I don't know what came over me but I walked over to Kate's bunk and pulled open the curtain to see she was sound asleep but her phone was still ringing. So I grabbed it and walked to the back room with Lauren.

"Should I answer it?" I asked her

"I guess if you want it to ever stop ringing." She responded sarcastically

I glared at her and accepted the call and held the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I spoke

"Kate?" Someone answered

"No,who is this?" I answered realizing how weird that probably sounds.

"This is Sydney. Who are you and why do you have Kate's phone?!" She asked. I could hear the anger and concern in her voice.

"This is Camila and Kate is asleep, so I answered her phone." I answered nicely

"Um... Wait what did you say your name was again?" Her voice sounded shaky

"Camila" I answered. Maybe she knows me? Oh my god. I'm so stupid I forgot for a couple of minutes I'm in a famous girl group called Fifth Harmony. I wonder if she's a Harmonizer. There's still silence on the phone.

"Hello?" I ask

"Um what's your last name? Camila?" She asked

"Cabello" I answered. Hearing a really loud squeal scream in the phone.

" I'm sorry but the famous one from 5H? Is this a joke? Did Kate put you up to this? Because if she did, that's not cool and you do a good voice impression." she spoke so quickly. I had her on speaker, so Lauren was laughing while she was speaking.

"Yes. I am the one and only Camila Cabello. This is not a joke. And Kate is sleeping. How can I make you believe me?" I asked giggling

"Um...... Can you maybe possibly sing for me?" she asked barely audible

"Yeah sure. Do you want Lauren to sing with me?" I asked

"Oh my god! Yes! Ryan Camren is about to sing to me!!!" I heard her yell to someone. Lauren and I were hysterical laughing.

We began to sing some of one of our songs Better Together.

"Ok I believe you now but why is Kate with you? And can you tell me where you are?" She asked exasperated. Right when I was about to answer, I heard someone walk through the door.
