Kate's POV
After being in the hospital under close watch, I was finally discharged. I was glad to be out of there. The doctor's would only let Ally in because she's my mother. They didn't want to let anyone else visit, with fear that it would overwhelm me. So for a few days I was stuck in an uncomfortable bed with strange doctors, nurses, and they tried to get me to talk to a psychologist about what happened. I don't even wanna think about it, let alone talk about it. I haven't seen anyone but Ally since the day I woke up. I was assisted into a wheel chair, since because of my concussion I wasn't supposed to walk around to much. The doctor said this concussion may be worse than previous ones because of the severe blood loss, and my heart stopping on top of that. I ended up with a few stitches on some of my cuts on my wrist and it's still wrapped up. My hand is still in the process of healing, but hopefully soon I'll be fully recovered. The doctor told the girls to make sure I take it easy and am on bed rest for the next week or so. I probably wasn't supposed to hear him say to the girl's to keep an eye on me. Don't let me go somewhere alone. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I was wheeled into the hospital lobby/ waiting room and the girl's came into view along with Sydney.
"Hey Kate." Sydney said and I waved.
I saw her look over to Ally and she nodded. I looked between them and wore a confused look, when Sydney took my wheelchair over to a set of chairs. She set the chair up in front of my wheelchair and sat in it.
"How are you?" She asked
"Good." I lied and she narrowed her eyes.
"Don't lie Kate, how are you?" she asked again and I sighed.
"Bad." I said and felt my eyes start to tear.
"Okay, please don't cry. I'm not gonna bomard you with questions, because I don't wanna overwhelm you. You really scared the crap out of me Kate." She said and she wiped a tear from her eye.
"I'm sorry." I said and looked down at my fingers.
"Kate, if you ever died, I would lose my mind. You are my family and I love you. I couldn't handle if you didn't make it. So please if something's wrong, I'm only a text or call away. Your so loved and cared for. We would all be heartbroken if something happened." She said and at this point we were both crying.
Before I could say something her phone went off. She glanced at it.
"My dad is outside, I don't wanna leave but he says I need to go to school." She said
"I understand, I want you to go to school. I don't wanna weigh you down Syd. Please go to school, like you said only a text or call away." I said and she offered a small smile.
I stood up and opened my arms. She stepped forward and we hugged for a while and eventually pulled away.
"I love you Chanchito." I said and she laughed
"I love you too." She said and walked away.
I sat back in my wheelchair and felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and it was Normani who smiled at me, even though I could see she was still upset.
"Ready to go to the hotel, my little dork." She said and I let out a small laugh and nodded.
She began to push the wheelchair and the girls and Big Rob surrounded us as we exited. I heard the screams of fans, and could see the flashes of camera's through the wall of people surrounding me and Normani.
