Chapter 23

Kate's POV

Once we finally got back to the bus, we got on and I followed Ally to the back and the girls all bombarded me with questions about my hand.

"Kate, what did the doctor say?" Normani asked

"The cast looks bigger than your head." Dinah said

"Is it broken?" Camila asked

"How long will it take to heal?" Lauren asked

I had to take a second to process what they just asked me because they were all kind of talking over each other.

"Okay so he said it's broken and to come back in about a month to get it checked again. Thank you for your observation Dinah and I don't know how long it will take to heal." I said in one breath and the girls all looked shocked

"So what your telling me, is that you broke your hand on someone's face because you hit them hard?" Dinah asked

"Yea." I said

"Well first off ouch, but yass Kate you have her the beat down she deserved." Dinah exclaimed high fiving my uninjured hand and Ally cleared her throat and have Dinah a look.

"I mean oh no, I'm so sorry about your hand." Dinah said winking at me

"So you wanted to show the girls your tattoos and I wanna see them too." Ally said

"Oh yea lemme see." Lauren said

"I thought that you only had the one that was visible." Camila stated and I shook my head.

I held out my wrist to the girls that had the heart with the infinity sign going through it. It was a red heart and a black infinity sign tattooed over the scars and cuts that are on my wrist because of me. Dinah grabbed my wrist to hold it still so they could all study it. I studied their faces and they all looked content, except for Camila who's brow was furrowed as though she was trying to decipher a code.

"I like it." Ally said

"It's pretty I like the infinity sign." Dinah said

"Yeah it's very nice." Camila said sounding unsure of her own words.

"It's cool. Did it hurt?" Normani asked

"Thank you and yea it did hurt but not to much." I answered

"You said you had three, where are the other two?" Ally asked looking concerned

I brushed my hair back away from the back of my ear, so my dragonfly was visible to the girls.

"Oh my god! I'm so jealous, that's beautiful." Lauren exclaimed gently touching it causing me to wince because it was still sore.

"Sorry." She said shyly and I said it's fine.

"Wow that is amazing." Camila said

"I love it! Now I kind of want one." Dinah exclaimed

"That's really nice, it's pretty." Ally said

"I love dragonflies." Normani said

"Next and last one." Ally stated mumbling 'I hope' under her breath.

I pulled the collar of the t-shirt down enough so they could see the black birds coming up my chest.

"Wow Kate those are beautiful." Ally said caressing my cheek

"I like them a lot." Dinah said

"They remind me of the one's up Demi's arms." Camila said and the girls all nodded in agreement

"I like them, I promise I won't poke it this time." Lauren said and I laughed.

"I love how they're placed, it's neat and nice, not sloppy." Normani said smiling

Once they all finished looking I let my collar go back into the right place and got up to go lay in my bunk. As I went to crawl in my bunk, I struggled because of my hand and groaned.

"Hey dawg, you okay?" Dinah asked and I laughed

"I can't get in my bunk because it's high and I can't get myself up." I said sleepily

"Oh I see, I have an idea." She said smirking and I widened my eyes

"What is it? You look like you just got away with murder." I said nervously

"Dawg I'm just joking, come here." she said and I walked over

She then picked me up without warning and placed me in my bunk. She stood there and looked at me laughing.

"Thanks." I said

"No problem, anytime." she said and awkwardly stood there

"Um, I was planning on sleeping, but I always do that so would you like to come in and watch a movie?" I questioned and she nodded and crawled next to me, only to realize we didn't grab a DVD

"Chancho?!" she yelled and I started hysterical laughing

"What?!" I heard Camila yell as she approached the bunk

"Go get us a DVD please?" Dinah asked pouting

"Fine, but only if I get to watch it too." Camila argued

Dinah looked at me and I nodded.

"Fine if you can fit in here, it's a two person bunk." Dinah said and Camila narrowed her eyes and walked away

A couple seconds later she came back with, Finding Nemo in her hand. She out the DVD in and then crawled in the bunk somehow squeezing next to Dinah. Dinah groaned as Camila crawled half on her to fit in and closed the curtain.

"None of you better have to pee, because I can't move." Dinah said and we giggled.

As we were about to start the movie the curtain opened, and Ally was standing there. She laughed when she saw us.

"Well I'm glad I was invited to this party." She laughed at us

"There's no room for you." Dinah remarked playfully

"Fine, have fun don't kill each other please, and you'' she pointed at me "Don't let them push you around to be their slave?" Ally said laughing

"Hey!" Dinah exclaimed

"You ruined our secret plan!" Camila then chimed in.

I just glared playfully at them and they both started laughing.

"Ok, well I'm going to go to my bunk, don't stay up to late. Okay. And watch your hand, with them, make sure it doesn't get bumped." Ally stated

"Okay, mom. Goodnight I love you." I said

"Goodnight, I love you too baby girl." Ally said and closed the curtain and walked away.

"Time to start this movie." Camila pumped her fist in the air.

"Yay!" I said

"Hey guys?" Dinah questioned

"What?" we said in unison

"I have to pee." Dinah said and we both groaned.
