CHAPTER FIVE:

Niall and I decided that we'll paint a sunset and he told me to draw the outlines and I did. I draw lines like on the middle separating the water and the sky and an outline for a coconut tree on the left then a concave that will be the sunset.

He started opening the paints and gives me the paint brush I'll be using. He bought two and I started painting the water with dark blue. Then he joins me too by painting the sky with a lighter shade of blue. I didn't know I stopped just to look at his hand, gently stroking.

"What's wrong?" he stopped. "Yeah, I'm left handed. What's wrong with that?" he frowned.

I shook my head, "Nothing. I just remembered someone," I sighed then went back to painting.

"Who," he asked. It seems like he's interested to hear my story but I don't know if I should trust him already. But for the past few hours, he only shown kindness and it feels weird.

He's not like this at school. I think the bad man that he is gone good. On school, you could see him with Michael's gang, bullying people. Or you could see him flirting those blonde girls or should I say girls who dyed their hairs just to be blonde.

But yeah, I'm worrying about him, but not in a bad way and I already like Niall like this. You don't think a bad boy can be kind and caring and all. It's just weird.

"You're boyfriend?" I frowned. Does he think that someone would really like me like that?

Yeah, I know. Harry likes me or Harry tells me he likes me but I don't think he likes me that way. I mean, he tells me he likes me but sometimes, he can't be serious and he always gives jokes. Not his lame knock-knock jokes but his childish self. Sometimes you don't know if he's being real or not.

And it's been a year, maybe his feelings faded now.

"What? Are you serious?" I fake chuckled. "I don't have a boyfriend," I sighed then went back to painting. “I never had a boyfriend,” I mumbled.

"Why not," he joins me again.

"Can't you see; everyone in school hates me for the reason I don't know. They think I'm ugly, that I'm useless." I looked at him in the eye. “You see Niall; no one would like me that way,”

“That curly guy; isn’t he your boyfriend?” he asked.

I look at him in the eye and shook my head, “He’s just a friend.”

Seconds later, silence filled the room and I’m dying to tell something.

“I’m ugly,” I mumbled to myself and I don’t think he heard that but when then he replied,
