CHAPTER THREE:
As the crowd went smaller, I approached the teacher in front the classroom. She's currently sitting on her table as she fixes her things. I stand in front of her as she piles her class records.
"Ma'am, can I just make the project individually?" I asked. She looked up at me and breathes. She gently grabs my arms and her hazel eyes are like apologizing. I don't even know what I'm doing but I feel like it would be hard working with that blonde guy.
"Sorry but it would be unfair to your other classmates. Why? Do you have problems on Mr. Horan?" she asked and I shook my head no. I should've not asked.
"Why Ms. Isabelle? Don't you wanna make the project with me?" I heard a thick accent say from my back and I turned around. It's Niall. He smirked as I felt myself blushing from embarrassment. He just heard me talk about it and I realize it sounds bad.
Honestly, I don't want to be near him. He's friends with Michael and that makes me think that he's like them. How could we even do that project if we're not close with each other? It feels awkward and strange.
I went to eat something outside the school for lunch and came back for my afternoon classes. I hate the fact that it's Geometry and then Michael and his friends would be there. And also, I always hated math because it's my worse.
But I don't have a choice so I walk and went inside the room. When I get in, there's Amy there sitting at the back. She's the only person inside and she's like writing something on a piece of paper. I went beside her and glanced at her work.
"Hi Amy," I greet as I sit beside her. She looked up at me as she fixes her blonde hair, and smiled. She greeted me hello then went back on what she's doing. I hate it when I want to talk to someone but they're busy. It makes me feel I'm not important, I don't know.
"What's that?" I asked as I point my index on the paper and glance again at the paper.
She looked up and looks at my gaze.
"It's my assignment for my Biology class. I forgot to do it yesterday so I'm doing it now." I nodded. Sometimes I do that too, when I forget to do my homework, I do it inside the school before that subject starts.
One by one until everyone filled the room. Then everyone's talking to another as usual. I watch people as they don't even notice my presence. Some are quiet, some are loud. Then you could see some girls putting make-up on. I scrunched my nose at the sight.
I watch in terror as these five lads come inside the room with cocky faces. I hitched a breath and I feel like my heart's pounding so fast. They don't look me here but I still feel like that it's possible that they could notice me.
They sat in front and it seems like Michael is telling a story and everyone laughs. Except for Niall. He's just smirking, as usual. I wonder if he has another facial expression. I could only see him serious or smirking.
"Quiet now." the professor says sternly as soon as he gets in. He's on his usual suit and his hair almost bald. And as usual, his suit looks small on him and his stomach looks like he's pregnant. I feel like I can't breathe seeing him like this.
