20: treasure hunt

Irene is going to our school. It irked me as I feel like Taehyung and her are not just friends. Taehyung has been avoiding me after our last date. Honestly, at this point I feel like giving up but I love Taehyung too much.

I'm so thankful that our school is having a sports festival before our graduations so I can go all out to release my frustration. Irene keeps clinging on him even though I am literally in front of her. It makes me feel like I'm the third wheel.

All of us decided to join the treasure hunt and unfortunately, the teams are being picked randomly the teams are ;

Yoongi, Jhope, Jisoo, Rose
Jungkook, Lisa, Yeri, Sehun
Wendy, Jin, Jennie, Namjoon
Taehyung, Irene Seulgi Jimin

Unfortunately, Taehyung is with Irene. It hurts. He seems fine with Irene. Does her back make him so happy?

We all gathered at the school hall to heard the next instruction for the game.

We all received the clue from the teachers it read "if knowledge is what you lack, you may borrow some and bring it back"

"Oh, it's easy!" Both Namjoon and I shouted at the same time. "Great! Let's go guys." Jin said while marching ahead.

We've reached our destination which is the library and try our hardest to find the hidden paper. I see some of the other teams have also arrived at the library.
I found one piece of paper from the corner of the book when I was about to reach it someone grabbed it before I did. "Hey! What's the deal I grabbed it first."

"Opps Jennie you're too slow. Always a step behind. Including with your so-called boyfriend ."
I glared at Irene who's snickering at me. "What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"You know why boyfriend has an end from it right because it will always end," Irene said while laughing.

I was about to say something but I see Taehyung walking towards us. "Hey what's the problem?"

"Taehyungie look at her. She's forcing me to give the clue to her but I - I found it first." Jennie scoffed when she heard Irene faked cry at Taehyung.

"Jen I know your competitive but don't be like that." He scolded me.

I was about to protest but she grabbed Taehyung and ran away from the library leaving me feeling dejected.

Taehyung oh taehyung why are doing this to me.

"Hey, you okay there? " It was Yoongi. I didn't really want to cry so I just nodded my head and walk towards my teammates.

"Sorry guys someone snatched the clue before I could," I told them while fighting the tears from falling. It hurts

"It's fine" Namjoom comforted me.

"Guys !!! found it !! " It was Wendy.

"I had to fight in a rock paper scissors with Yeri to get it though."

"Great job Wens." We all cheered.

"I don't think it is though," Wendy said. "It involves players so must be sports."
"Ohh I got it." I clapped both of my hands.

We had to throw some shoots until the clue which was stuck at the hoops fall down. It was pretty challenging if you said so.

When we receive the second last clue we almost threw our heads away as we didn't know what the clues was even telling us. It was

"Umm perfume? But we don't have perfume stores nearby." Namjoon said.

"Flowers are sweet right ?" Jin added.

"Wait a minute. It's a reference to Shakespeare. Romeo and Juliet!! " I just realise it.

They all look at me waiting for my explanation.

By any other name would smell as sweet." She compares him to a rose. So the sweet smell must be the rose garden in our school. Come on! We might just win this." I told them and started running towards the garden with them joining behind.

I saw Taehyung's team was there and he was laughing full-heartedly with Irene. They looked like flirting with one another.

When Jin already found the next clue which was
"the finish line is at the start. listen closely and you've done your part "we're about to head there but suddenly Irene grabbed my hand.

"Jennie I need to talk to you. Please."
