"good morning." diego smiled as he kissed me on the cheek.
"can you make me breakfast?"
"nah get yo lazy ass up and do it yourself."
"fuck you." i groaned as i rolled out of bed. i was too lazy like he said, so i just poured some trix.
"i set up an appointment." he said while walking in to the kitchen. "for your pregnancy."
"oh.." i gulped.
"whats the matter?"
"i'm nervous."
"its gonna be okay. we'll figure out what we're doing with it, i promise." he smiled.
"but what if we don't?"
"nah cause you always gotta be so negative, lil ma."
"i'm sorry. i hate being unprepared for something like this. like i wanted to get engaged first, and then have a child."
"i am sorry that we never used protection," he frowned.
"its okay. i'm in no position to get angry with you right now. its already stressing enough."
"don't worry. you aren't alone. its our kid remember?"

"yeah, c- course babe," i fake smiled.

diego dropped me off at the doctor's.
"i'll see you later." i said and kissed him on the cheek.
"see ya babygirl." he said.
i went inside the doctor. i went upstairs in the waiting room and signed in. i sat down. i saw a girl, she seemed about my age, and she was holding a baby girl.
"its cute," i smiled.
"yeah it really is. but its hard work."
"i'm actually here because i found out that i am pregnant.. any advice?"
"well when you're a mom at 16 I don't know if i'll be helping."
"you're 16?!- i mean- wow."
"yep, its okay to be surprised."
"what happened?"
"i had sex without protection. pretty self explanatory shit. i did it a lot back when i was 15. i first did it at 14, big mistake."

"don't be sorry. it was my fault that i was a hoe. i don't even know who the dad is."
