"Just think about it, baby!" Laurence shouts, taking long and slow strides to his blonde boyfriend. He brushes the blonde curls away from his pale boyfriend's light eyes. "You, me, Nicolàs, Sebastiàn, Valeria, in our living room eating popcorn and laughing at a funny movie, all of us huddled together as a family," He smiles softly and kisses Garroth's forehead.
Garroth sighs with a grin, "That does sound nice," He looks up and into Laurence's eyes and his grin grows into a beam. "That sounds really nice."
"So do you want to go talk to Bruno about it sometime this week?" Laurence questions, his voice littered with excitement. Garroth rolls his eyes with a giddy smile.
"Slow down Laurence, let's take time to get used to taking care of the kids and then we can go? I just feel like if we add another responsibility of talking to Bruno about it, it would just add more to our situation. I mean think about it, my love, what if Bruno gets angry at our suggestion and he ends up taking the kids away from us altogether?"
"Then Laurence would kick his butt," A voice bluntly states from the doorway. Both men look over to see Nicolás standing there, rubbing his eyes with the sleeve of his navy blue pajama shirt.
Laurence laughs, "Damn right. Why are you up again Nicolás?"
"Well it is morning, isn't it?"
"Well you woke up at like three in the morning last night and didn't go to sleep until like, five. You need rest," The brunette sighs, walking over to Nicolás.
"It's fine, I'm good. I'm not that tired anyways," Nicolás smiles shyly and begins to walk off downstairs, mumbling something about Laurence cooking breakfast as he did so. Laurence turns around and smiles softly at Garroth, who was dressed in an oversized mint green sweater, which was Laurence's, and black boxers. He himself was shirtless, but with black and white pajama pants.
"Come on baby, lets go make breakfast," He lovingly caresses the blonde's cheek before taking his hands and dragging him downstairs and to the kitchen. They begin to pull the ingredients for pancakes out before a small girly voice cries out from upstairs.
"Garroth?! Laurence?!" The voice grows into a scared cry and soon the younger adult was looking at Nicolás and Laurence with fear, wanting an explanation for Valeria's desperate screams.
"She hates waking up alone. She usually goes to my room but I guess she's crying cause she's not used to this house yet and doesn't want to get lost," The oldest child explains as he watches Laurence crack some eggs into a bowl.
"Can you go get her, my love?" Garroth nods and obeys his boyfriend's request. He paces up the stairs and into the room Valeria was staying in to find her huddled up into the corner of her bed with the blanket covers over her entire body.
"GarGar!" She whimpers, stretching her arms out to him. He smiles softly as he sits on her bed and engulfs her into a soft hug. Her stubby hands wrap around his neck as they hug and her legs around his waist, completely cuddled into his side as if she was his child. His heart melts at the gesture and he had to hold back a loud squeal.
"Hi, sugar, are you okay?" He kindly asks as his fingers comb through her hair.
"I'm scared, I don't want to get lost. What if I run into my mom while trying to find you?"
"Oh sweetheart, this is our house and she's not allowed in here. See, there's this huge invisible gate in front of our house that keeps all the bad guys away, including your mom, so your mom cant get anywhere near you," Garroth grins at his stupid story but however, she was a kid and she believed it. Her smiles stretches across her face and with that, she hops out of bed and runs around whilst happily squealing. And once Sebastián was awake, they all cooked breakfast together.
Like a family.
