Finals... and good news?!?

The next day was the first day of Finals Week. This week is filled with nothing but tests, exams, over due projects, and presentations that counted more for your grade than anything else we wasted our time for. Let's put it this way, if you slack off the entire school year, but you do a picture perfect project and presentation, you pass with a C- .

yep! the last two weeks of school are always the most stressed days, but once the work is all set aside after that one Finals Week, the absolute last week of school is always the most laid back week of school. And that is probably the reason why people don't want to leave. Especially because it was the last week as an eighth grader. But for now, all that i had to worry about was passing finals and not trying to throw up during my presentations.

Even though i spent my first and last year in middle school at Anderson, i made alot of really awesome friends. James said that i have changed. That i didn't have that old sort-of normal personality. That i have changed in to someone more random and crazy. Someone who fell in love with Pokemon, unicorns, mustaches, and pretending to be a crazy One Direction fanatic that would die to use his toilet...

He said that i was more spontaneous and outgoing, well he also contradicted that fact because i was the youngest at my old school to be voted Vice President of the student body. I had to do speeches to the whole 1300 students every month, i joined talent shows, i was the all-around girl that everyone knew.

One time, i set up a campaign at my old school because there were so many cases of sixth grade boys kicking and stepping on poor defenseless frogs, and just hurting poor animals. I was on this fieldtrip one day and when i got back the next day, i was told that seventh grade boys kicked a cat to death.

That's when i officially cracked. I HAD to do something. So thanks to those people who signed the petition, any signs of animal cruelty was to be sent to the office and suspended.

At my new school, the teachers were freaking awesome, they had this ongoing prank war throughout the school year. it all started when my english teacher and the janitor broke into the math teacher's room, took all of the student desks and stuck it all into my english teacher's classroom. it was classic!

anyways, back to the story. the morning bell rang for first period, and i barely heard it. I just about made it to homebase without being counted tardy. I ran so fast to class that when i ran through the classroom door, i slipped, landing flat on my ass. and just my luck, there were guests!

Everyone else was acting like angels while they were talking about who know's what. And just to make things worse, there were 5 boys. one of them had skater long, blonde hair blue eyes, and one heck of a smile. the one next to him was tall. he had an auburn short fohawk, dark brown eyes, and by the look of things, had an eye for one of my best friends, Ahnna. the next boy had black, short hair, grey eyes, and a lip ring. He also had one fine jaw line. The one next to him was a brunette. He had skater long hair, hazel eyes, and a bit of an attitude if you ask me. He looked like he had enough ego to share with the entire class.

and last but not least, there was him. He was just the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. He had dirty blonde silky hair, green eyes, and the perfect smile that girls would kill to kiss. His jawline had the most perfect angles. His features were just perfect.

sadly though, I totally humiliated myself in front of him. Everyone else started laughing and he just stood there. He stared at me with sympathy, but i didn't want  him to feel sorry for me. I stood up and walked to my chair next to Sam, one of my other best friends.

"nice entrance" she said letting out a laugh that seems like she'd held in painfully for a while. "shut up. haha, so what's with all the hot guys in this classroom filled with googly eyed droolies that act like they've seen one direction shirtless in a photoshoot at school?" i said laughing at my comparison for it was very similar.

"it's for this ball coming up. These angels are from Base Academy for boys. They're hosting a ball for their annual trip to NYC. This year, we're their target audience and they want us to go to their ball." she said eyeballing the first one, the blonde one. Would you blame her?

"a ball... a.. ball... A.. BALL!! A BALL?!?!?!?!?!" i said trying to maintain my whispered voice. "YES a ball, dorko!! what else?!?! oh, and i think i've found someone who's eye you've catched." she said pointing at that last boy that i've been drooling on for the past five minutes since i slipped though that door.

turns out, he's been glancing over at me every few seconds and when i catched him doing so, he smiled nervously and looked away. this guys checking me out?!? naww, he probably was checking out someone behind me or something.

"so..." the blonde one said, giving his hands a clap, " this ball is sponsored by us, the NJHS members..."  'NJHS?!?!?!? SMART AND HOT?!?!?! i think i've hit my head when i slipped and went to heaven!' i thought to myself.

"and we would be honored to have you ladies come to our ball. the ball is on, This Saturday at our school in the gym. and i know the teachers hate this idea, but on Friday, the eighth grade 'bachelors' will be having a fieldtrip here to ask girls like you to accompany us at the ball. Friday is the day your finals is over and we can't see why we can't, so be ready for that."

After that sentence, everything went blank. well, except that incredibly HOT who keeps glancing over at me, or the person behind me or something. All i remember is the blondie saying that piece of information over and over again in my head: and i know the teachers hate this idea, but on Friday, the eighth grade 'bachelors' will be having a fieldtrip here to ask girls like you to accompany us at the ball. Friday is the day your finals is over and we can't see why we can't, so be ready for that.

After lunch, i had my class who's finals was todays. English. English was one of my strongest classes. i zoomed through the finals very fast, looking over my answers three times confident that i've got every answer right, and sat back at my seat. still thinking about that ball coming up saturday.

CAN'T WAIT TO TELL JAMES ABOUT IT!!!!!
