Later that night, I was at the flat getting ready for the date with Harry. Nobody was home at the time, so it was a perfect time to just get ready and leave before anybody see Harry at the flat. I wore a black, tight, strapless dress and my silver locket necklace. I went into my closet and looked down at my shoes.
Heels? Or flats?
I took my black high heels out of the closet and put them on. I started to walk around in them around the house and seeing how tall I was. I put my hair in a ponytail, showing off the diamond studs. I didn’t really understand why in the hell I was dressing up. I’m getting dressed up for a date, I’m not suppose to be on. But it’s worth it. I’m going on a date with Harry Styles and of course I want to put a good impression for him.
I put my phone on silent and put it inside the clutch bag I stole from Mum’s room. I told Hugh that I wasn’t going to make it at the warehouse because I had mountains of homework to do at home. He never thought I’ll end up doing my ‘homework’ anyways. But it was a good lie because he believed it. Plus Hugh said that he wanted to stay at the warehouse for a couple of days, so I had to meet him back at the warehouse when I’m done. Which is going to be impossible. But I’ll try to make it work.
Then I heard a knock at the door. My heart began to race and my hands began to get sweaty. This is really happening. I’m going to go on a date with Harry Styles. I walked over to the door and looked in the peephole. I saw Harry standing on the front steps in a suit and tie. I smiled and unlocked the door. I opened it and looked back at Harry. He had a rose in his hand and he handed it to me.
“You look beautiful,” Harry said. I never smiled so hard before. I took the rose from his hand.
“Thanks. Um, I’ll put this in my room. Hold on,” I said. I quickly walked towards the hallway and into my room. I placed the rose on my bed and left out of the room, closing the door behind me.
I walked back into the living room and towards the front door.
“Okay, lets..go,” I said. I turned the lights off in the flat and closed the door behind me.
Harry led me to his car and opened the passenger’s side door for me. I hopped in and he closed the door for me. Harry walked around the car and opened the driver’s side door and he hopped in, closing the door behind him. He started the car up and drove down the road. I was so nervous. I started to rub my hands together and I could feel the butterflies coming inside my stomach.
“You’re quiet tonight,” Harry said. I turned and looked at him.
“I’m sorry. I’m just...nervous that’s all,” I said.
“I understand. It’s fine that you are,” Harry said. I turned back around and nodded my head.
If he knew that I’m not even suppose to be on this date with him. Harry is now a target in Duncan’s eyes because of me. If Harry and I get caught during this date, it’ll be both of our asses on the line. I’m just praying that that doesn’t happen.
“What happened to your cheek?” Harry asked.
Dammit. I was sure that the make-up I wore would’ve worked.
“Oh um. My...cat...had scratched me while I was sleeping. But it died yesterday,” I lied.
“Oh. Sorry to hear that,” Harry said.
“No, it’s fine. Wasn’t a fan of that cat anyways,” I said.
Then the car ride was silent. Great, I made it awkward. I took out a sigh and looked down at my hands. I’m just hoping this date won’t last a long time. I took my phone out of the clutch and saw that Hugh was calling. Shit. I sent him to voice mail and decided to send him a text instead. But then he called again. I clicked the green button and put the phone towards my ear.
