The nightmares came back about Duncan again. The rape and shooting was all in one. I had to cry myself awake before I knew it was just a nightmare. My eyes opened and I realized it was morning. I sat up in bed and wiped the tears away from my eyes. I brushed back my hair and took out a sigh. Harry was also in the nightmare, but he was the one staring at me while I was calling for help. I never thought he’ll be the one staring down at me. I thought he’ll be the one to help me. But all this time, I never asked for his help. The only helped I asked from him was to keep secrets and lie about everything. I was worried about what Duncan will do and react, than caring about my relationship with Harry.

Then I heard running footsteps heading down the hall. Afterwards I heard gagging noises. I got up from bed quickly and opened my bedroom door. I looked down the hall and saw the light in the bathroom on. I walked down the hallway and went to the edge of the bathroom corridor. I looked inside and saw Skylar kneeling down in front of the toilet throwing up. Once she stopped she wiped her mouth and looked at me. I took a step inside the bathroom while she flushed the toilet.

“It’s probably all the drinks I had last night,” Skylar said, standing up from the floor and looking back at me.

“Are you sure? Is your head hurting?” I asked. Skylar shook her head.

“Well, you don’t have a hangover,” I said.

“It really doesn’t matter. I just gotten sick by something last night. But...I heard the argument between you and Harry,” Skylar said. I crossed my arms and looked down at the floor. I took out a sigh and looked back at her.

“Yeah. Um. I guess we’re done,” I said. Skylar made a face that looked like she felt sorry for me.

“I’m sorry Natalie. I knew you really liked him,” Skylar said.

“It’s fine. Don’t worry about. I’ll fix you some breakfast and then you have to go to school mate,” I said, starting to go down the hallway. Then all of a sudden I heard a loud thump coming from the bathroom. I stepped back and looked back in the bathroom and saw Skylar passed out on the floor. I rushed over to her, picking her head up from the floor. “Skylar...Skylar wake up. Skylar,” I said.

I put my ear by her mouth and she was still breathing. I took out a sigh of relief and put her head back on the floor. I grabbed her arms and tried dragging her out of the bathroom.

“Jesus, you’re heavy than I expected,” I said, dragging her out of the bathroom and into the hallway. I dragged her down the hallway and into the living room. I put half her body on the couch and and lifted her feet onto the couch. I kneeled right beside her and started to slap her in her face. “Skylar. Skylar, wake up. Wake up,” I said.

I got up from the floor and went into the kitchen. I filled up a glass of cold water and walked back into the living room. I splashed the water onto her face and she started to wake up. She sat up from the couch and wiped the water from her face, coughing.

“Are you okay?” I asked. She looked at me.

“Give me a trash bin please,” she said. I rushed over to the kitchen and grabbed the trash can in the corner. I then rushed back and gave it to Skylar.

Seconds later, she threw up inside the trash can. I looked away, feeling the need to throw up myself. After the gagging noises were done for, I looked back at her she was wiping her mouth, putting the trash can on the floor.

“What did you have last night?” I asked.

“Three beers. I didn’t bother to eat anything. The beers probably gotten me sick,” Skylar said.

“I don’t think beers can make you throw up twice and pass out mate,” I said. Skylar was silent for a moment and she looked up at me.

“I passed out?” she asked.
