"My way"

Blaze's Pov

"When did you become this desperate ?" Cynthia mocked as she finally decided to join their meeting. He was seething with anger for different reasons; one of them was waiting for Cynthia for half an hour. She is playing hard-to-get and that fueled  his anger. People kept eyeing him apologetically as if he was stood up. 

"We agreed to meet half an hour ago." he scolded 

"You texted me twenty times so I know that already" The short haired girl shot back picking her menu and totally ignoring him

"Why are you acting like so?" Blaze asked so lowly that his whisper could have been missed

"Because as soon as I got you out of my system, you popped from nowhere. You didn't come alone too but dragged them into my mess of a life" she slurred  the  word 'them" ,finally letting go of the menu 

"You disappeared  into thin air and next thing I know  am a dad."  He blamed too

"Where is your loving family by the way?" she mocked and he felt a need to set her in place as she mentioned Alexa and Austin in such tone but remembering where they are he just let it go.

"Out." he mumbled under his breath feeling a bit stiff

"Do you love her?" Cynthia asked out of nowhere 

"Why would you ask?" he bit back with apparent anger. He hated how all can just judge him and his feelings. All just wanted him to admit that he loves Alexa. All were expecting him to. Isn't it just too confusing to feel the need for murder when another guy is flirting with her and owning her attention?

"Because you stayed with her even though she got a baby. Also, you didn't run away, once you have known he is yours. You followed her , here... You would have never done that for me knowing that I am pregnant" Cynthia pinpointed and eyed him carefully

"She is just important to me." He simplified ignoring his rapidly beating heart.

"And I was not." Cynthia concluded with a sad smile

"You were, still are..." he corrected reaching out for her hand but she brushed his off

"why? because I am Austin's biological mother ?" She growled at him

"Yeah and because of our past." He accorded not noticing her bubbling anger 

"The past that you ruined because you are selfish and shallow." She reminded loudly getting few looks from the people around them

"I was. I am a better person now or I am trying to be. You are not a saint ,too. You also did decide for yourself to move out and take my son away. You didn't even inform me that you were pregnant ! I could have lived decades without knowing. Many people say they hate kids but once they get theirs they simply love them. Oh, and lets not forget that you left the poor kid for adoption. He is lucky because Alexa decided to parent him."  He blamed  again

" And you are so lucky because she accepted to marry you, isn't it?" she yelled

"She asked and I accepted" He roared back

"But you wouldn't wear a promise ring for me!" she mocked 

"It was done for different reasons. Back then, I didn't feel like wearing a ring." Blaze fulminated 

"Because you never loved me. I was never that important but your fake wife is. Man up and just accept the fact that you freaking love her." Cynthia finally uttered pushing her chair back and standing up

"Why is it so important to all of you that I admit my feelings for her?' he yelled standing up " And if I love her which I do...What will it do for all of u? I love her, so what ! What will you people do with this kind of statement...She changed me. I feel like I am home wherever she is. She is calm and brings my insane energy down. She ,unconsciously to me, is turning me into a good person. I need her to be. " he blurted unconsciously but as soon as his words downed on him, he fell to his chair "I love her." he repeated feeling some kind of weight being taken off of his shoulders
