Marks POV-
It's been a year since she cheated on Jackson by kissing Taehyung while on a date, in front of him of course.
After that, Jackson isolated himself swearing to never fall in love again. But you can't control the future, and he's fallen in love. Unfortunately, Jackson doesn't know how to control himself and has locked himself away for the last week. I went to visit, managing to convince him that she's insignificant now and that he will lose Stella if he doesn't pick up his act. He's pushed his feelings for her away for too long.
My visit to his apartment has turned into a screaming match, tears flowing down both of our cheeks.
"But how can I trust her? How will I know she won't hurt me!" Jackson yells, pulling his hair in frustration.
"Jackson! Trust me! I would never let you close to another girl who would! Stella isn't like that! She was cheated on too you know!! She swore that she'd never fall in love after Jinyoung hurt her! And now you've come along making her think there's hope for her love life and then completely shutting her out as soon as she thinks she has a chance!"
"I don't want to be in love Mark! I don't want to get hurt by someone!"
"Have you ever thought you're not the only one in love?! And you're the one hurting them?!"
Jackson went silent. I wiped the tears on my cheeks as he did the same.
"I just want you to be happy Jackson, but I also need my best friend to be happy. And she isn't because of you. Fix things before it's too late." I slammed the door behind me, hopping in the car before driving home.
