*Jacksons POV*
I slowly woke up to an annoying buzz, my head pounding as the result of too much alcohol from late night partying. I turned to my side to see my phone lit up, tons of messages appeared on the lock screen. I rolled my eyes at text after text from girls who draped themselves all over me last night, none of them catching my interest, until an unknown number popped up.
"Hey Jackson, It's Stella"
I smiled, remembering the girl I met last night, Marks best friend of 8 years. She was gorgeous, but so shy, I'm glad I didn't scare her off with my loudness.
I quickly texted her back, asking if she'd like to go to a local café with me sometime next week. I tossed my phone on my bed and rolled out of bed to hop in the shower.I walked out of the bathroom with my towel wrapped around my waist.
"AHHHHH" I screamed as I looked up to see Mark perched on my bed, a goofy smile on his face.
"Good morning to you, or should I say good afternoon" he said, a smirk plastered on his face.
"How the fuck did you get into my apartment?" I yelled, quickly finding some clothes to change into.
"The front door"
I rolled my eyes and shut the bathroom door, slipping into some comfy clothes.Walking back out I saw Mark still on my bed, a smirk on his face.
"Why are you here anyway?" I asked walking into the kitchen with the older boy following behind.
"Because~ somebody asked out my best friend without asking me"
Mark started laughing as my happy expression dropped. Oh he wasn't being serious."You should have seen your face!" He yells, falling to the floor while clutching his stomach in laughter.
I rolled my eyes and made myself a sandwich as Mark eventually picked himself up off the floor.
"No I'm serious though! You asked out Stella?"
"Yeah what's wrong with that?" I asked.
"That means I won a bet!! You owe me $20" Mark exclaimed, doing a happy dance around my lounge room. I pulled a $20 note out of my wallet and threw it at him in order for him to shut up, unfortunately it didn't work. I smiled at him as he continued to dance around the room.
"Hey Mark, can you tell me more about her?" I asked with a shy smile, as Mark put his hand on my shoulder.
"Of course, I bet $20 she'll fall for you"
"You and your stupid bets" I said as I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch, he raised his eyebrows at me.
"Ok fine."
