Allie's POV

The next morning I wake up when the lock in the door turns making me aware that Kasey is probably trying to get into our room. I open my eyes slightly to get used to the brightness of the room, I smile once I see that Nate is still next to me with his arm draped across my waist, I attempt to get out of his hold but his breathing changes as he tightens his arm around me, "Nate I have to get up" I say, "just a few more minutes" he mumbles before kissing my shoulder gently, "Kasey is here, we gotta get up handsome" I reply as I finally get out of his hold and out of bed. He groans as he sits up opening his blue eyes and running his hand through his messy hair, the door swings open and my lovely roommate comes into the room, "morning lovebirds" she says not even affected by Nate being shirtless and in my bed, "hey Kase" I exclaim and go to give her a hug, "I hope you used protection" she says into my ear, I shove her, "we didn't do the deed" I whisper back, "could've fooled me" she tells me while wiggling her eyebrows, I roll my eyes and go back to sit on my bed with Nate.

I sit so that my legs are crossed and Nate drops his head into my lap, this makes me look down at him with a smile, I run my fingers through his hair and he sighs, "do you have practice today?" I ask him, "no, we only have weight room stuff" my boyfriend replies with his eyes still closed, "does that mean I get some free time with you today?" I ask, "mhmm" he replies. I lean down and give him a gentle kiss on the lips as I take my hands out of his hair, when I pull away his eyes are open again and there's a huge smile on his face, "I will never get tired of those" he tells me, "I couldn't agree more" I say, there's a knock on the door and we hear a voice say "surprise dorm inspection", my eyes widen as I look down at Nate, "you have to hide, we aren't supposed to have guys in our rooms" I exclaim as he sits up and grabs his clothes, "just a minute" Kasey yells at the door as we try to find a place for Nate to hide, "under the bed" I say quietly gesturing to my side of the room, he nods and wiggles under my bed frame.

After what feels like hours the door shuts behind the lady who inspected our room and I run to my bed, "you can come out" I say to my poor boyfriend who comes out from under the bed. "She was here for forever" he exclaims while standing up from the floor, "I know, i'm sorry" I tell him as he walks over to me placing his hands on my hips, "it's not your fault" he replies with a smile as he kisses my forehead. I go on my toes and reach up to his hair to wipe away some of the dust that got stuck, he laughs and leans down a bit to help me reach for it all. "Okay all good" I say as he goes back to his full height but not before kissing my lips quickly, leaving a smile on my face, "what was that for?" I ask, "because I can" he replies as I laugh. Nate pulls out his phone and checks the time, "well I better go, I have to get to my class" he adds, "okay, talk to you later superstar" I tell him as I give him a hug, he kisses my head before letting go and leaving the room.

A few hours later I head out to my marketing class, I enjoy the walk through campus with the leaves various shades of red and orange. Once I get to the building where the lecture hall is located I walk in and make my way to the correct room to ensure that I get a good seat. After what seems like forever the professor lets us go, I pack up all of my things and get out of the hall as quick as possible. "Allie!" I hear a deep voice exclaim, I turn and see Nate leaning against the wall next to my class, "hey" I say with a smile as I walk over to him, "how was class?" he asks, "boring, as usual" I reply, "I definitely know that feeling" he explains before throwing an arm across my shoulders and pulling me into his side.

"When do you have to go to the weight room?" I ask, remembering that he said he needs to do weights for hockey, "there's no set time, but a bunch of the guys are going at 4 so i'll probably go then" he replies, "I really should go to the gym too, I gotta keep up with you, my food baby just won't do" I explain patting my belly, "you don't need to go to the gym, you're perfect the way you are" Nate tells me as he stops walking, he tilts my chin up so that i'm looking at him, "is someone telling you that you need to lose weight?" he asks concerned, "no, it's just I feel pretty out of shape compared to you mr superstar" I explain while looking into his blue eyes. "Allie, I love you just the way you are, don't feel forced to do anything you don't want to" he tells me, I nod while biting my lip, he brings a hand up and tugs at my lip making me release it, before I can say anything else he plants his lips onto mine while cradling my face, I lean up to deepen the kiss. Nate pulls away smiling, "how about you come over to my place and we can make some food before I have to go be with the boys" he suggests, "that sounds great" I reply as we walk to the parking lot to get to his car.

"Nate stop" I exclaim between laughs as he tickles me, "never" he replies with a big smile on his face, I place my hands on his arms trying to push him away, "not going to help gorgeous" he exclaims at my failed attempts. I get an idea so I give up trying to fight him and I bring my hands up to his face pulling his lips to mine, his hands stop tickling me, his arms come around my waist bringing me close. I take advantage of Nate's moment of weakness and slip away from him easily, he groans, "that's what you get for tickling me" I explain with a smirk as I cross my arms across my chest. "Oh really?" he asks walking over to me, my heartbeat quickens as I watch him approach me with a smirk, my back hits the kitchen counter as I look up at Nate, he keeps approaching until there's no space between us. "yeah..." I say unsurely, he places his hands on either side of me on the counter and leans down pressing a kiss to my upper neck, I sigh as I bring my hands up weaving my fingers in his hair. He keeps pressing his lips down my neck and he hoists me onto the counter with ease, I wrap my legs around him and he pulls away, "no can do gorgeous, I have to go meet the guys now" he tells me before walking away leaving me high and dry, I sit there in shock my heart still beating quickly.

"Wait so he just left you sitting there and didn't come back to finish what he started" Kasey exclaims once I tell her what Nate did to get revenge, "yep, I must have stayed there for at least 10 minutes before getting up and coming back here" I tell her as I curl my legs under me as we sit on the couches in the lounge. "That's ballsy of him" she explains, "I guess I deserved it after doing the same thing to him" I reply with a smile, "you really love Nate, don't you" Kasey says, "yeah, isn't it crazy since we've only been together for like a month" I exclaim while biting my lip, "it's definitely not crazy, you guys are perfect for each other" she tells me, "I don't know about that" I say with a shrug "you guys are though, everyone can see it" she exclaims while smiling. "Let's hangout tonight, just us girls, we haven't had a night to ourselves for a while" I say to Kasey, "sounds great" she replies as we go back to our room to get ready for our girls night.
