Chapter 17

Daveed
I looked next to me, and saw Ember, and it looked like she had tear stains? I still felt so horrible about yesterday.  I'll ask her later. I carefully got out of bed, not wanting to wake her up.

I set the table for us because I had made breakfast, french toast, bacon, and a strawberry smoothie. I saw her step out of the hallway, still in her sleepwear from yesterday.

"Hey, Princess."

"Hey." She said, not even acknowledging me.

"I made some breakfast."

"Thanks."

We were quiet, which was weird, that never used to happen before. ( if yOU SEE HIM IN THE STREETS)

After a while, she spoke.

"I have to tell you something."

"What is it, Princess?"

"I...w-want to break up." She said, her voice cracking.

"What? W-why?" I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces.

"I don't like hiding from the rest of the cast, or anyone for that matter, and it hurts that nobody can know that I'm yours, and you're mine."

"Oh, okay." That was all that came out.

"Thank you for breakfast, but I'm going somewhere for a while."

She went to the room and closed her door.

She had such a sudden change of emotion.

Just yesterday we were having fun.

I still love her.

She loved me.

She doesn't anymore.

Why?

I felt my body heat up, I wanted to burst out crying.

I heard the door open, and Ember came out, took her phone, and walked to the door.

"Maybe I'll be back. Bye.

"Bye."

Why did she leave so suddenly?

I didn't do anything wrong, did I?

She couldn't have seen Violet and I, right?

Could she have?

Ember
I probably hurt Daveed a lot, but it hurt me much mre than I hurt him. I asked Aaron if I could come over, I really need someone right now.

Ember
Hey, Aaron. I was wondering if I could come over to your house.

Aaron
Sure, whatever you need. Is something wrong?

Ember
You have no idea, I'll tell you there.

Aaron
Okay, see you soon.

I knocked on Aaron's door, and he later opened up.

"Hey, Ember. Come in."

"Thanks."

"So, what's wrong?"

"I, um, had to break up with my boyfriend." I said, already wanting to cry.

"I'm sorry, why did you have to break up?"

"I-I saw him cheating with another girl." I said, tears falling from my face.

"Ember, I am so sorry you had to witness that. You deserve better than him." He said, hugging me and rubbing my back.
