Death

My white and black wolf stands tall.

I look into the lifeless eyes of monsters.

They deserve to die.

They circle me.

I stand tall, unmoving.

Kade stands out the front of the house, with George holding him back.

I sigh.

They pounce.

They drag me down to the ground.

Thud......

Time slows down.

I look at Kade.

I look at my brother.

The monsters stand over me.

I close my eyes.

I never told them this part.

I knew they would say no.

My real parents would've found out i was alive.

I open my eyes.

I needed a fail proof plan.

I lie on my side looking at Kade.

I hear the slow faint heartbeat coming from my stomach.

I silently say my goodbyes.

I close my eyes waiting for my end to come.

I snap my eyes open.

Lilith and Julian are walking away.

I stand up.

Kade looks back at me, shocked.

Lilith and Julian turn around to see what everyone is staring at.

I see they mouths drop.

"How, we ripped your throat out."

I smile, blood dripping down my neck.

"Like I said, I don't. Wanna. Die."

I pounce.

I knock Julian aside and claw Lilith.

She screams, I laugh.

"So you do feel something. Bitch."

Julian comes up behind me.

Chomping on my tail, I spin around.

I scratch his muzzle.

He staggers back.

Lilith comes at me.

I dodge easily.

I bite her tail.

Giving it a yank, she squeals.

I grab her leg with my teeth.

I bite down hard, feeling the bones crunch.

She screams again.

Julian makes a swipe at my face.

I hold on, biting harder.
