Dean sat next to me on the bed with his arm wrapped protectively around my waist.

I replayed everything that had happened with the demon, and I mean everything.

"You told him to stick it and he 'I like you?'" Dean asked.

I nodddd

Dean laughed but Sammy slapped his arm.

"Dean, this isn't funny," Sam snapped.

"Sorry, Sammy, but it kind if was," Dean said giving me a high five.

I giggled.

"Dean," Sam said warningly.

Ok that's weird, Sam's acting different about this.

They obviously know more about this than their letting on.

"Am I missing something?" I asked in a snappish tone.

"Why did it go for her?" Sam asked. "Her mom didn't die in a fire."

Dean watched Sam pacing and I watched them both.

I was slowly getting more and more pissed.

"Why now? What's different about her?" Sam kept ranting.

I've taken enough.

I shot up to my feet, making both of them jump.

"One of you explain, now," I said.

They both stayed quiet.

"Or I will turn around and go make that deal," I threatened.

Their eyes widened.

"Do you know if anything happened on your sixth month birthday?" Sam asked.

I raised an eyebrow.

"Why would I know that? I was six months old," I said grumpily.

"Do you know of someone who might know?" Dean asked.

I watched them both for a moment, then I slowly pulled my phone out.

I dialed a number and put my phone to my ear.

They watched me curiously.

"Hello?" A woman said on the other line.

"Grandma?" I asked.

"Ashley, you safe!" Grandma cried out.

I smiled.

"Yes, Grandma, I'm fine. I have a question for you though," I said.

Anything, dear, anything," She said.

"I remember that before my parents died that we always came and visited you for Jason or mines birthday," I started.

"Yes! I miss those days," She said sadly. "I miss my son and daughter and law."

"I do to," I whispered back.

Then I remembered why I called.

"Do you remember if we came down for my sixth month birthday?" I asked.

Grandma was quiet for a moment.

She was so quiet that I thought she had hung up.

I was about to say something else when she spoke up.

"Actually, sweetheart, you guys did come down that day," She said.

I could hear the smile in her smile.
