"Hello?"

I knew Dean would notice the bed empty in my side and wake up soon.

I walked quickly through the dark streets.

Only a few cars drive past me while I walked, otherwise it was quiet and empty.

My phone rang, filling the silent night around me with sound.

I answered it quickly, not wanted to bring attention to myself.

"Hello?" I asked quietly.

"Ashley," Manson's voice came from the other end.

"I thought I told you to leave me alone?" I hissed.

"I know but-"

"How did you get my number?" I interrupted.

"I have my ways," He answered.

I stayed quiet.

"What do you want?" I finally asked.

"I just wanted to tell you, I just arrested Kevin Salazar. We looked into it and found that you were right," He said.

I slightly smiled.

"Thank you," I said genuinely happy.

"Your welcome," He replied.

"I'll leave you alone now, I just thought you would have wanted to know," He said.

"Thanks, now please, loose my number," I said hanging up.

I was happy that they got Salazar.

He may not have known about everything, but he knew Jason had been kidnapped. He knew an he didn't do anything about it.

That's just not right.

I walked slightly faster.

A smallish building came into view.

It had all it's lights on.

I walked up to the door and opened it slowly.

Warm air greeted my face and I walked in.

The room was like one big waiting room with a front desk off the the side.

There were a few people sleeping in some of the chairs.

A short plump man sat behind the desk looking at a magazine.

I had a feeling that wasn't a kid friendly magazine.

The man has a balding head with salt and peppered hair, light brown eyes, and tanned skin.

I walked up to the desk and waited for him to look up.

He flipped the page of his magazine and I was right.

Definitely not a kid friendly magazine.

I cleared my throat.

The balding man jumped and hid the magazine on his lap.

"Yes, hi, what can I do to help you?" He asked.

I saw his cheeks turning pink.

"I need to get to Sioux Falls, South Dakota," I said.

"The closest out bus will take you is Pierre, South Dakota," The balding man replied.

He pointed to a spot of the map of South Dakota that was pinned up on the wall next to him.

There were a few other maps above and below the South Dakota map. It was all the states that the buses go to.
