"I'm So Sorry"

DEAN'S POV:

"We need to get to the hospital, now!" I said.

I got Ash into the back seat and got in next to her.

I set her head down gently in my lap.

I pushed her hair out of her face.

She shook her head.

Her lips started moving I but I couldn't hear anything.

I leaned down to try an hear her better.

"No, don't take me to the hospital," She begged

"Ash, you need to go to the hospital," I told her.

She started shaking her head.

There was more than pain in her eyes.

There was panic.

"I will never forgive you if you take me there," She said quietly.

I watched her for a second.

She was behind honest.

Something bad must have happened at the hospital once that made her hate them, or scared of them.

"Sam, take us to the motel," I said.

"What? She needs the hospital," Sam said meeting my eyes in the rear view mirror.

I shook my head.

"No, just take us to the motel, fast," I said.

Sam shook his head, but quickly turned the car around.

We were at the motel in less than five minutes.

I carefully got Ash out of the car and set her down on the bed.

This is the second time I've had to do this, and I didn't like it the first time.

I quickly got a bowl with warm water and rag.

"Sammy, get me the first aid kit," I said sitting down next to Ash on the bed.

I started cleaning up all the blood around each of the wounds.

Sam set the first aid kit next to me.

I opened it.

"Sam, we need more gauze, a lot more," I said.

"I'll go get some," He said grabbed the keys.

He shut the door softly behind him.

"Ash, you shouldn't have came," I said softly.

"I was saving your ass once again," She mumbled with a small grin.

I didn't think she was awake.

I smiled weakly.

"We would have gotten out somehow," I said.

"Really?" She questioned. "I don't think I've ever seen you try to escape something so hard until a half hour ago, and you still didn't break free."

She had a point there.

"Of course I tried my hardest then, he was hurting you, badly," I said softly.

She smiled weakly.

I tended to her deepest wounds first, which were on her stomach.

I got some scissors from the first aid kit and cut away the remains of her tank top.

I pressed the rag against the one right below her bra and she gasped in pain.

"Sorry," I said.

I quickly cleaned up the blood and taped some gauze to it.

Her body was tense with pain.

"How did he pull you into the trap anyways?" I asked gently.

Ash lifted her hand slightly and showed me the bruise that was forming.

"My arm must have crossed to the inside and he took his chance," She said weakly.

Her voice was hoarse and weak.

Next I cleaned up the long gash on her side.

She winced some more and pain shot through my heart.

"I'm so sorry," I whispered.

"It's not your fault," She said gritted her teeth against the pain.

"Maybe not, but I could have done more to prevent this," I said.

"Stop beating yourself down," Ash said.

"I don't know what I would have done if he hurt you worse than this," I muttered.

"You would have kicked some major ass," She grinned.

I grinned despite the situation.

I needed to stop the bleeding from her legs.

I took the scissors and cut the rest of her jean made shorts off.

The cuts on her thighs were pretty deep.

I used the last of the gauze to patch her thighs.

With the smaller scratches Tom had made I was able to use the bigger bandaids.

The rest, I would have to wait for Sammy.

"In all honesty, I would never forgive myself," I mumbled.

I felt Ash's hand go under my chin as she made me look at herself.

"Well, then it's a good thing I'm ok," She whispered.

I couldn't take it anymore, I just had to.

I leaned forward and pressed my lips to hers softly.

Her lips were warm an soft against mine.

She brought her arms up around my neck and deepened the kiss.

Finally, I pulled back and looked into her beautiful cobalt blue eyes.

"I've loved you since I was nine," I whispered.

She smiled.

"I've loved you since I was seven," She whispered back.
