9: I need your LOVE in My LIFE

He took the guitar off my hands and with one swift move we're standing face to face.

With his signature smile, he asked, "Shall we Dance, Miss Carter?

"Wala namang tugtog?", tanong ko with a tensed voice. His face so close to mine. I really don't know what kind of magic his eyes possess nor what is it with his smile, I can just say yes to everything.

Right now, the air sizzles with our closeness.

"No problem", he answered with a grin. Inilabas niya ang phone niya and played a song that I really love.

 While holding me so close in his arms, we started to dance. I fit perfectly in his arms like I'm a part of him with his forehead against mine.

Him leading in slow movements, seeing my reflection in his eyes I feel like melting in his arms.

I love him more than ever if that's even possible..

His voice mesmerizing. He held me closer, this time my head resting on his shoulder.

His scent lingers, I'll always remember his aftershave, a scent of oakmoss, musk and sandalwood.

I want to stay like this in his arms forever, where I can feel his warmth, I can feel his heartbeat.

I miss him, even if he's holding me this close.

I remember our first meeting. I remember our first date, our 14 dates and all the dates we had.

They're engraved in my heart and in my mind.

Natatakot pa rin ako that one day he'll regain his memories and he'll never want to see me again..

I woke up early in the morning contented and with a happy smile. I remember last night, when Red and I went back inside to sleep.

"Wala ba kong good night kiss" he asked boldly.

"Good night", I replied and gave him a quick peck on the cheek tsaka ako tumalikod.

"I haven't gave you mine" he faced me to him and gave me one not so tiny kiss on my lips.

"Sweet Cherry Lips" I heard him say when the kiss ended.

I opened my eyes, he's still staring at my face and caressing my lips. He was looking at me like never wanting to let me go.  But he did....

"Go to sleep" utos niya sa akin before giving me another kiss, this time it's short but still sweet.

There were no 'I love you's'. No endearments.. Nothing..

But no matter how hard I try, I can't contain myself. My lips just curve on their own. My heart squealing in delight.

I took a shower then went out of the room. I was expecting to see him but instead I found a note on the kitchen table.

It says:

"Morning sleepyhead, pupunta ako sa pond . Nagpunta nang town sina Belize to get some supplies. I'll wait for you there okae. (' ',)"

I folded the note and I ate breakfast hurriedly. I miss him already.

Today, hindi na ko magpapaligaw, OO na agad. Sasabihin ko sa kanya na hindi na niya kailangang manligaw, I love you na agad. Heeh, dyahe ba? Hmmpf, bahala na si Superman.

Malapit na ko sa pond when I noticed that Red is with Mathias.. Ang aga namang mangibang bayan nang isang to.

"Paano mo nalamang mahal mo siya kuya?"  narinig kong tanong ni Mattie kay Red.

I saw him smile before answering, "At first, I only find her cute. Pero, kakaiba talaga siya. She's not just a breath of fresh air but she's like a rainbow, bringing colors. She's like the stars shining brightly and like a shadow that I can't live without. Before I knew it I fell for her head over heels. And by some miracle, she love me too. Alam ko siya lang ang gusto kong makasama habang buhay."

"Ang sarap sigurong ma-inlove?, tanong ulit ni Mathias

"It's the best feeling in the world. Kung minsan hindi mo na iisipin ang sarili mong kaligayahan, mapasaya mo lang siya. Hindi mo rin ipagkakait ang mga bagay kung doon siya liligaya. Hindi pagiging martir ang tawag doon, mapagbigay lang. Hindi rin under ang tawag doon, nagmamahal ka lang" sagot ni Red. It's all in his face, happiness written all over it.

Habang si Mattie, tumatango lang na parang nag-iisip.

Are they talking about me? Ayoko namang maging assuming pero in fairness kinikilig talaga ako.

Kahit may amnesia pala ang baby damulag ko, may sweet bones pa rin.

Ibig palang sabihin noon, nung binabatok-batukan ko pa siya at sinisipa, pinagbibigyan lang niya ako kasi mahal talaga niya ako. Ayeee.. Nagi-guilty tuloy ako..

Pero babawi na lang ako. Ako naman ang mag-aalaga at magmamahal sa kanya ngayon. I took a deep breath and smile..... I guess it's my turn to say "I need your love in my life"...

Wait, but he doesn't remember any of our moments together, then who's he referring to?

Tamang tama namang paharap na sila sa akin when Red said  "Isobel".

My smile faded and I just heard my heart crack into tiny pieces... again...
