~Brielle's P.O.V~

Just sitting there next to my mom was heartbreaking. After we had gotten there I broke down and couldn't take seeing the sight of my mom in such a fragile state, it felt like dealing with my dad all over again. "This hurts so much Jiyong..." I whimpered as I turned back towards him and watched as he let Jaejoon play on his phone. "I know baby... But the only thing we can do right now is wait until she wakes up." He stated as Jaejoon giggled at the video he was watching on Jiyong's phone. I sighed softly and gently got up and paced around the room, lost in my own thoughts as I still tried to comprehend the situation I was dealing with. I lost my thoughts as a knock sounded from the other side of the door. I gently opened it and saw who I guess was my mom's doctor on the other side.

"Hello there, I'm doctor Morgan, you must be Brielle." She stated as she held her hand out for me to shake. I gently took her hand and shook it while nodding. "That's me, and this is my husband Jiyong and my son Jaejoon." I motioned towards the two after I let go of her hand. "Nice to meet you all. I have some good news to share with you." I nodded and went back to my seat as she flipped through her charts in her hand. "Right now your mother in in an induced coma to keep her heart rate steady so she doesn't get worked up too much, but don't worry because she should be waking up soon. The nurse will come in later and wake her up." She flipped through her charts again before speaking. "Her heart attack wasn't severe, but had the paramedics not gotten there in time, it could have been worse. Your mother is very lucky." She finished and smiled softly at us. 

"That's a relief and very good news, thank you doctor." I responded before turning back to my mom and holding her hand. The doctor bid us goodbye and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. I turned as the door opened again, my brother appearing behind it with food for all of us. Jaejoon looked up and squealed happily, clapping his hands at the sight of the food. "Thank you for getting us this food." Jiyong said as he grabbed his food along with Jaejoon's. "It's no problem, I knew you guys would be starving when you got here." He said as he handed me my food. Although the food looked really good, I didn't have much of an appetite at the moment. I gently picked at it and forced myself to eat some of it, just in case the babies in my belly were hungry. I sighed softly and put the rest of the food to the side and went back to focusing on my mom. "Why don't you come rest for a while Brielle, I'll sit with mom and make sure she's okay while you take a little nap." My brother suggested, getting up from his chair across the room, coming to stand next to mine.

"A nap doesn't sound too bad." I stated as I gently got out of my chair and let him take my place. I got myself comfy in my chair and wrapped my jacket around me before closing my eyes, slipping into a peaceful sleep, something that was very much needed for my tired body.

I was woken up a little while later to Jiyong gently shaking my shoulders. "There waking your mom up now." He said in a quiet voice as I shot up from my position in my chair. The nurse gently pushed some medicine through my mom's I.V line and stepped back. She turned towards all of us and smiled. "She should be waking up shortly. When she does, give her some time to adjust and wake up before you try and interact with her, just in case she gets overwhelmed and her heart rate goes up." She instructed before cleaning up and walking out of the room. I let out a big sigh of relief as I stood up and stretched, making my way over the opposite side of my mom's bed, gently taking her hand in mine. It felt like ages before she began to slowly wake up, her eyes fluttering open. I let out a small gasp of shock as she looked around the room, a small smile creeping onto her face. "I can't believe you're all here.." She said, her voice slightly raspy. My brother gently helped her into a sitting position so she could drink some water and quench her dry throat.

"I wouldn't let anything get in my way of being here." I stated as I held her hand gently in mine, kissing her knuckles with a small smile. "Your belly is getting big Brielle, it's like you've got more than one in there." She joked with a small chuckle. I cracked a small smile and stood up straight. "I don't think it would be a good time to tell you this, but I'm actually having twins.." I said, watching my mom's face light up with pure happiness. "Oh my heavens that's wonderful!" She said happily, gently running her hand over my swollen belly. "Mama!" Jaejoon stated as he noticed that my mom was awake, gently tugging at Jiyong's shirt, pointing at my mom. Jiyong chuckled softly and carried Jiyong over to my mom, gently placing him in her lap. "My have you grown Jaejoon." She cooed softly as she hugged him close to her chest. Jaejoon let out a happy noise as he snuggled against my mom gently. "He turns one soon mom.. It's like he was a baby yesterday and now he's all big." I said with a sad chuckle as I watched the two of them snuggle and laugh with each other.

"You need to let me know when his party is so I can come and stay in Korea for a while, I loved it there last time." She stated with a small smile. "How could I ever forget to tell you, I wouldn't want you to miss it for the world Mom." I replied happily. We all spent the rest of the night with my mom before heading back to her house for the night. My brother insisted that he stay with her tonight just in case anything changed. I went to sleep easy that night, full of relief that my mom was okay.

A/N: I KNOW THIS IS SUPER OVERDUE. IM FINALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL AND NOW I CAN FOCUS ON WRITING MY BOOKS. I HOPE YALL LIKED THIS CHAPTER, THE NEXT ONE IS GOING TO BE SUPER CUTE AND EXCITING!
