~Jiyong's P.O.V~

~One Month Later~

~Jaejoon's Birthday Party Pt. 1~

A month had passed since Brielle had left the hospital, the twins healthy and happy. It had been quite a struggle the last month because having two crying babies is harder than just having one. Brielle's mom and her brother flew over a few days after the babies were born and been here since to help Brielle and I care for all of our kids. Today was an exciting day however, it was Jaejoon's first birthday. Oh how the time flew, it was amazing seeing him grow up, but it was sad that it happened so fast. It was amazing to think back to when Brielle first told me she was pregnant with Jaejoon, the timing wasn't right but bringing him into this world was one of the best decisions of our lives, under bad circumstances or not, Jaejoon seemed to shed some light into the situation we had been dealing with when she got pregnant wit him. I turned my head and pulled myself away from my thoughts as I felt a small tug on my pants. Jaejoon was standing next to me with a big smile on his face.

"Are you ready for your birthday party bubby?" I asked as I scooped him up and hugged him tightly as he nodded and giggled loudly. "I hear some happy giggles!" Brielle cooed from the kitchen as she came out holding Saerin against her chest, a small blanket over Saerin's head as she fed off of Brielle. "He's so excited for his party baby, I can't believe he's turning one today, it makes me so so happy." I stated as I bounced Jaejoon slightly in my arms. Jaejoon let out another squeal of excitement before I put him down, watching him run off somewhere, most likely to go and find his grandma. Brielle smiled softly at me and walked off into the nursery for the twins, probably putting Saerin down for her nap. I chuckled softly to myself and headed outside where Brielle's brother was setting up tables and decorations around the backyard. "Need some help?" I asked as I grabbed a thing of streamers and started hanging them up on the trees and fence in our backyard. "Thank's man." He stated as he continued to set up small table decorations on the tables.

"No problem." I replied before going to grab another thing of streamers. "So, I never really got to ask you anything but when did you meet my sister?" Her brother asked as he joined me in hanging up streamers. "I met her a year ago at one of my concerts, cliche I know, but she was the lucky fan I got to sing too. I invited her backstage after I sang the song and we just kind of clicked from there." I stated, grabbing another thing of streamers and handing it him. "She talked a lot about you, I kind of knew who you were when she still lived with her mom and I, she would blast your music in her room all day long." He let out a small chuckle before turning and grabbing a pack of balloons for him and I, sitting down at one of the tables to blow them up. "Tell me more about when you guys met, she never really told me much about it." He said as he blew up a balloon. "Well, when we first met, I was in a relationship with a psycho bitch named Kiko. This girl was nuts, and she was utterly rude to your sister when she found her on my couch the night we met. It wasn't like Brielle was doing any harm, she missed her bus home and I allowed her to stay with me so she didn't have to spend any money getting a decent hotel room." I said before taking a break to blow up a balloon.

I continued once it was blown up and tied off. "After that I went on tour for almost a year, but Brielle and I kept in touch. She started working at my Entertainment company while I was away but when I came back, I broke up with my girlfriend. That same night Brielle and I went out to celebrate her new job as well as my return from tour." I blew up another balloon and tied it off. "Kiko ended up being at the bar we went to, Brielle punched her in the face and so on because Kiko was being greedy and rude as always." Her brother chuckled softly and continued to blow up balloons as I talked. "That same night Brielle and I got intimate on "accident" but I'm pretty sure it was bound to happen anyway." I chuckled softly as I recalled the night that I'm pretty sure Jaejoon was conceived. "From then on we became close quickly, and here we are now, married, three kids, one turning one today." I finished before blowing up another balloon, tying it off and tossing it on the table with the others. "You guys fit perfectly, I approved of you from the start when she told me how good you treated her. I just wasn't very pleased when she got pregnant and you cheated on her." Those words rolled off his tongue like venom, stinging me as they hit me. "I felt extremely guilty when she found out, I begged her to forgive me and since then I've done nothing but make sure that nothing hurts her, not even me." I stated as I blew up another balloon.

Her brother smiled fondly at me and patted my shoulder. "Thank you for protecting and taking care of my sister, it makes me happy to know she's happy and secure." He said before smiling softly. We both turned as a small chuckle interrupted our conversation. Brielle was standing on the porch behind us. "Heart to heart huh? Adorable." She stated as she joined us at the table, helping us blow up the balloons as well as fill her brother in on all that he had missed this past year. Today was a big step and it was only the beginning.
