~Brielle's P.O.V~

~Jaejoon's Birthday Party Pt. 2~

After a few hours of setting up Jaejoon's party, the guests started to arrive. Some of my friends from work brought their children who were around Jaejoon's age, the other members of BIGBANG showed up, and some of Jiyong's managers showed up to drop off gifts before they had to run off to work. Today was absolutely wonderful, and Jaejoon seemed ecstatic as guests continued to arrive at his party. Jiyong was outside firing up the grill while I took care of the twins, gently putting them down in their cribs before walking out of their nursery, the baby monitor clipped to my hip just in case they woke up. I made my way outside and took a seat in one of the deck chairs, getting comfy as I indulged in a conversation with one of my co-workers, who complimented me on how much of an amazing mother I was. The party was absolutely amazing and the decorations Jiyong had picked out were stunning, it made me smile wide as I talked with my friends, my eyes traveling around the heavily decorated yard thanks to Jiyong and the others set it up. I watched Jiyong from across the yard cook with my brother, the two of them indulged deep in conversation. I smiled softly to myself as Jaejoon ran around the yard with the other little kids, a huge smile spread across his face, just like how his daddy smiled, which made me even happier.

"Brielle? Ready to eat?" Jiyong called from across the yard, holding up a plate of hamburgers and ribs, my brother holding another with some chicken as well as hot dogs, all cooked and ready to go. "Sure babe, let me round up Jaejoon and the other kids so they can all sit down and eat together," I called back as I got up from the chair I was sitting and walked across the yard to gather up the kids and lead them to their own special table set up for them to sit at. Jiyong served all of the children first after asking them and their parents what they would like to eat before serving everyone else at the party. I settled with a cheeseburger and a few pieces of chicken, eagerly munching on the food as I sat next to Jiyong, watching the table of kids to make sure Jaejoon was okay and eating happily. "He looks so peaceful." I hummed, turning to Jiyong to get him to look over at Jaejoon getting along with the other children. "He's extremely happy today, especially since he gets to run around the yard more as well as have other children to play with being that the twins are still too little." He replied before taking a bite of the chicken on his plate, a small smile forming across his lips as he did so. "This food came out really good, Jiyong." One of the girls from my job complimented as she continued to eat watching her son with a smile on her face. I gave her a smile as Jiyong thanked her, continuing to eat as he watched Jaejoon get along with the other children at their special little table. 

As I was taking a bite of the piece of chicken on my plate, I could hear a cry come from the baby monitor on my hip, letting me know that one of the twins or both of them were awake and needed to be changed and fed. "Babies are up, I'll be right back, Jiyong," I stated, giving him a kiss on his cheek as I headed inside, placing my plate on the counter before heading into the twin's nursery. I peeled the door open quietly and saw Taemin getting fussy while Saerin was still fast asleep in her crib across from her brother. I quickly made my way into the room and scooped up Taemin, gently hushing him as I grabbed stuff to change his diaper with as well as my breastfeeding blanket and a comfy pillow to fit under the baby when it was time to feed him. I gently began to change Taemin, tossing his diaper out before picking him up again and sitting down, gently leaning him up so I could slip the breastfeeding pillow under his little head before I placed my breastfeeding blanket over my upper half. I got comfy and began to breastfeed Taemin, looking out the window at the party still going on outside. I noticed something off, Jiyong had up and disappeared from the table, which wasn't very far out of view from the window.

I raised an eyebrow and just shrugged it off, figuring he was somewhere out of my line of sight in the backyard somewhere. I continued to feed Taemin until he had enough, falling sleeping my arms from being full and happy. I gently removed the blanket and carried Taemin back to his crib, setting him down again so he could go back to sleep. I made sure to shut the door quietly as I made my way back outside, making sure to grab the baby monitor off of the counter and clipping it back onto my pants. I opened up the back door and made my way outside, looking around, still unable to find Jiyong. I raised my eyebrows and looked for my brother, spotting him from across the yard. I made my way over to him, my anxiety slowly beginning to rise. "Have you seen Jiyong? He was here a few minutes ago before I went inside to feed one of the twins." I asked, catching his attention. "Oh? He was walking out of the back gate, I stopped him and asked where he was going and he told me that work had called him and needed him for a bit, so I thought nothing of it and let him go on about his business." My brother stated with a smile. I just nodded, not too worried because that usually happens to him on occasion.

I just continued on with the party until the day came to a close, everyone had left and the yard had been cleaned up. I put Jaejoon to bed and made sure to take care of the twins before I went to bed myself, unfortunately without Jiyong, who still had not come home yet. It bothered me a bit but I thought nothing of it as I drifted off to sleep.

A/N: I KNOW I HAVENT UPDATED IN FOREVER, BUT DUE TO THE VIRUS AND ME NOT HAVING COLLEGE I CAN FINALLY WRITE UP SOME NEW CHAPTERS AND FINALLY FINISH THIS BOOK. I WONDER WHAT'S GOING ON HMMMM? SOMETHING FISHY OR MAYBE SOMETHING NORMAL, WHO KNOWS?
