~Brielle's P.O.V~

I awoke the next morning without Jiyong, a slight bit of anger burning inside of me. I could hear my mom and brother up taking care of Jaejoon and the twins for me, most likely giving me a break from yesterday, which I was thankful for. I got up and got dressed in some comfy clothes before locating my cellphone, noticing that there were no calls or texts from him, making me a bit angrier. I dialed his phone number and it went straight to voicemail. "Son of a bitch," I grumbled, unsure if I was overreacting or if I really had the right to get angry, I mean, who's husband would up and leave their sons birthday party, say they're going to work and not come home at all. I sighed softly and called TOP, hoping he would pick up. "Hello?" His voice rang into my ear, making me sigh slightly in relief, but my anger still fueled through my body. "Did Jiyong come into the studio at all yesterday?" I asked, trying not to sound angry with TOP. "Not that I know of, why? Was he supposed to?" He replied, sounding a bit concerned. "That's what he told my brother..? Can you ask Taeyang or Daesung and see if they've seen or heard from him? He never came home last night." I stated, listening as TOP asked the other two members, both of them stating that they hadn't seen or heard from him either. "Thank you for telling me, I need to go and find out where he is," I stated angrily, hanging up the phone before I could hear anything else from them.

I exited the room and made my way out into the living room, clearly and visibly angry to my mom and brother who were taking care of the twins while Jaejoon played with his toys on the floor in front of the television. "Everything okay?" My mom asked, gently rocking Saerin in her arms while my brother changed Taemin on the other couch. "I haven't seen or heard from Jiyong since her disappeared yesterday, and he clearly wasn't at the entertainment company because no one over there has seen him either." I ranted, running my hands through my blonde hair in frustration as I walked into the kitchen to get myself a cup of coffee. "Maybe he was there when no one else was and then left before they showed up?" My mom suggested following me into the kitchen, still holding Saerin in her arms. "I don't know... Maybe?" I replied, taking a sip of my coffee, placing it down once I heard the front door open, my eyes angrily shooting up to look at Jiyong, who was walking inside. I scoffed slightly as he gave me a smile, ignoring him as I picked up my cup of coffee, making my way back into the bedroom, shutting the door behind me. I had my back turned to the door when he opened it, coming into the room and shutting it quietly behind him. "Everything okay?" He asked, setting down his bag that he usually brings to work on the floor next to the door.

"No Jiyong, everything is not okay, you up and disappeared and didn't even tell me you were leaving," I stated angrily, keeping my back turned to him. "I told your brother that I went to wo-" I cut him off as he began to speak. "I know for a fact that you were not at work, I called the boys and they told me that you were not at work at all, so where exactly were you Jiyong?" I asked, whipping around to face him angrily, trying not to cry from being so frustrated with him. Jiyong stared at me with a look of shock, not sure what to do because he hadn't seen me this angry or upset since he had told me that he was being enlisted into the army. "Well?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest as I glared at him, my eyes piercing into his as we stared at each other. "Fine, I went to hang out with some of my buddies, but I didn't want you to get upset and for it to ruin Jaejoon's party." He replied, now visibly getting angry with me. I scoffed and rolled my eyes, turning my back to him again. "So your friends were more important than your son's birthday party? And on top of that, you lied to my brother about where you were going, which makes even more pissed off with you." I stated, trying not to shout or bother my mom and brother in the living room with the babies. He glared at me and just shrugged. "The party was almost over anyway, so I don't know why you're making a big deal over it." He stated, still staring at me with an angry look.

"That doesn't matter, you were supposed to be there for Jaejoon, not go and hang out with your friends. But just forget about it, I don't want to argue anymore, just leave me alone for a while." I stated, turning my back to him again as I sat down to drink my coffee and try to call off. "Whatever." I heard him grumble as he walked out of the room and into the living room, shutting the door behind him. I just shrugged and grabbed my laptop, working on some work from home, which made it easier for me to take care of the kids and also juggle making money to support myself.

Later that night after I had helped take care of the kids with my mom and brother, Jiyong came into the bedroom after doing whatever he was doing during the day and gets into bed with me, facing away from me on his phone. I ignored him and continued to work on my laptop, finishing up my work before turning off the device and placing it next to me in its original place on the nightstand. Jiyong kept his back turned to me and shut his phone screen off placing it on the bedside table next to him. I waited for a while until I knew he was asleep, my prying curiosity pushing for me to check his phone because his story about going out didn't seem to add up. I got up from the bed and walked around and picked it up off of the table, making my way silently out of the room and into the living room so I could go through it to end my unnerving suspicions. I unlocked his phone and slowly started going through it, something immediately catching my attention...
