The next morning I woke up feeling something I had rarely ever felt.
Pure happiness.
I pretty much woke up with a smile on my face, with no explanation besides the amazing night I had last night with the most amazing person.
I sat up and looked at the clock, seeing it was 1:00 pm. Not super late considering how late i was out last night.
I decided to call Finn to see what he was up to, and he picked up on the second ring.
"Goodmorning beautiful" he said into the phone, and I could practically hear his smile, which pretty much caused me to roll over and die right there.
"Goodmorning handsome. What are you up to at the moment?"
"I'm driving to meet my manager for a quick meeting, it'll be over around 3 and Im completely free afterward. That is, unless you'd like to change that?"
"I mean, i have a pretty busy schedule as well but, i guess i could make an exception. Anything for my fans"
He laughs and i feel my stomach errupt into butterflies, yet again. What the hell is this kid doing to me?
"Well okay then. How about I pick you up around 6?"
"Deal. Where are we going?"
I can practically see his smirk "thats for me to know and you to find out"
I roll my eyes even though he cant see me.
"I'd be willing to bet anything that you just rolled your eyes"
This causes a small smile to crack onto my face.
"You know me too well wolfhard"
"You bet I do. Now if you'll excuse me, Ella is not paying me enough to talk to you for this long"
"Hey! You know you love talking to me"
"That I do not. It's 100% out of pity"
"Whatever. Just text me when you're on your way"
He agrees and we hang up.
Great. What am I gonna do all afternoon? We passed by this cute little shopping area the other day, I decide to go check it out.
After a few hours of successful shopping, I decide to head into this cute little coffee shop after dropping my bags off at my car.
A little bell dings when I open the door and the smell of coffee fills my nose. I probably look like an idiot just standing here enjoying the smell. Oh well who cares not me.
Someone suddenly bumps into me, spilling their 63727352625 degrees coffee on me and getting my WHITE SHIRT all messy.
"Oh my gosh im so so sorry, my mind is so jumbled right now and i wasnt paying attention to where i was going" a girl with long brown hair and bright green eyes says.
Her glasses are pretty much sideways and she has deep bags under her eyes, so i can tell shes pretty overwhelmed at the moment.
"Hey its no big deal, dont worry about it" I reassure her, fanning my shirt out to try and dry it off a little.
"No im so sorry i feel horrible"
"Girl dont, it's totally okay"
She smiles tiredly and shakes her head.
"Im such a mess right now. Here, im like 10 minuets late to this meeting right now, but at least let me give you some money to buy something for yourself"
she says, pulling out a five dollar bill.
"Nooo its completely fine" of course I secretly wanted the money. Oops.
"Yes. Take it" she shoves it in my hand and smiles at me again before turning around and speed walking away.
"That was weird" i mutter to myself as i head into the bathroom to clean myself up, but because my luck sucks actual ass, theres now a huge brown stain on my shirt.
"No. Dont focus on the negative. Be positive!" I say to my reflection, standing up straighter.
"You just scored 5 bucks. And youll be able to get the stain out eventually, so you basically got it for free!"
I nod to myself and turn to leave the bathroom.
"Pfft please life, is that all you got?"
Apparently it wasn't.
As soon as I open the door my eyes land on something I hadn't noticed before, and it made my blood absolutely boil.
Sitting at a little table in the corner of the shop was the one and only Finn Wolfhard.
And sitting across from him was some random blonde bitch.
