This chapter is neither the sequel nor the alternative ending of the book Summertime Sadness.

It's dedicated to anyone who loves mommies and babies like me.

And especially to @kirinsbride-who is very supportive and indulge her readers with her beautiful works. I hope you always find your inspiration in what you're doing.

A/n: I don't know what tempted me to write this chapter ;))).

But let's end this gloomy book with a happy-ending one-shot, shall we?

*******************

Rafaela found out she was carrying his child just a week after he left.

The couple has married for 2 years. Since they both loved kids, they longed for a child of their own above anything. Actually, they was planning to have a child but then Alucard was offered to go on a 18-month-business trip in a foreign country, in exchange of a big promotion. At first, he declined. However, due to his beloved wife's insistence, he then reluctantly accepted it. He had promised to make it up to her when he got back and they will add a cutie baby to their family.

It seemed he did keep his words even before he left.

When Rafaela first looked at the pregnancy test, she was quite astonished. She didn't see it coming. However, her surprise soon replaced by joy. She quickly decided to put all her heart and soul into the preparation for their firstborn child.

The expectant mom took a break from her work. She turned one of the rooms in their apartment into the nursery. She dragged home many of baby's books and she even planned to spend all her saving money on the baby clothes and toys. Rafaela couldn't wait to know whether the baby will be a boy or a girl. She was so excited.

"It's a girl, you say?". Alucard asked from the other side of the phone. His voice barely concealed happiness.

"Yes, a little 5-month-old baby girl is on her way". She said as she holding a paper in her hand. It was the result from the hospital.

"How adorable". Alucard replied excitedly but he kept his voice down. His wife can tell he sneakily called her while he was still working. "I always want to have a little girl". He continued.

Rafaela giggled softly.

"Well, your wish is granted." She said.

Rafaela smiled while looking at the ultrasonography picture of her baby. Her mind was fantasizing about a baby girl with a messy silver hair and fiery eyes. She was going to send this to him soon.

"All thanks to you, honey. And do you have any name for our girl yet?". He asked curiously.

"I like to call her... Angelica". Her hand instinctively drifted to her growing stomach. She had read nearly three books of baby names before coming up with this most suitable one.

"Angelica...". Alucard tested the word in his tongue. "That's nice. We will have a little angel." He quickly decided.

"We will". Rafaela agreed. She was glad that he liked the name too.

"I love you, honey". He said hurriedly. Looked like he has to go back to work. "And I love Angelica too. Please tell her I couldn't wait to meet her"

Rafaela let out a small chuckle. She suddenly felt a light kick within her stomach. Baby Angelica was getting excited.

"Yeah, I will. Take care, honey". She sweetly replied and hung up the phone.

"So..." The expectant mom turned to her expanding bulge. "You were eavesdropping on your mommy, huh Angelica?". She admonished half-heartedly her unborn child.
