“Good evening passengers of Pacific Airline, we’ll be landing at NAIA for about 10 minutes now. Please fasten your seat belts…”
Hindi ko nalang pinansin ang sinasabi ng stewardess. I slowly look at the window and I can see that we really are landing now. I put my seat belt on and fix my hair… and look myself at the mirror…
Still pretty as I am… *smile*
Mga ilang minuto lang ay lumapag narin ang sinasakyan kong eroplano. Nagsibabaan na halos lahat ng pasahero at kinuha ko narin ang bagahe ko at nagsimula ng bumaba.
I turn around… Philippines is still Philippines… I miss this country so much. How I wish it misses me too. I put my glasses on and walk with my luggage.
“Where the heck is she? She’s supposed to be here by this time.” I looked at my watch and it’s exactly 9:10pm. She’s 10 minutes late.
“KAYYYEEEEEE!!!” I turn around when someone screamed my name. I looked at the place where a girl is waving her hands and smiling at me. I smiled and walk towards her.
“Oh my! Oh, wait, should I say, WELCOME BACK?! I miss you so much! I’m sorry, nalate lang ako ng konti. May inasikaso pa kasi ako eh.” She said as she rubs her head. I hug her once and looked at her from head to toe.
“San ka galing? May party ka yatang pinuntahan.” And we start walking.
“Uhm… yeah…” I stop and looked at her and removed my glasses.
“Talaga? Anong okasyon?”
“Victory Party I guess.” Victory Party? Kanino naman kaya? Di ko nalang pinansin yon at nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad.
“How was it here?” Tanong ko pagkasakay sa kotse niya.
“Ayos lang naman. I think, everything is normal.”
“Nakakahalata ba sila?”
