"That's my Valentine's day gift for you baby, but I wanted to show you a bit lighter," he exclaims as a smile spreads crossed his face.
"Baby!!" I laugh as I jump off the bed and run to the closet.
"Hamm!" Alex hollers from the bedroom.
I open the closet door and peak inside, to find a little French bulldog staring up at me.
"Her name is Cardi," Alex states as he wraps his arms around my waist and set his chin on my shoulder.

"You aren't joking me, right?"
"Nah, baby. She is our dog," he chuckles and I reach down and pick her up.
"Hi baby," I giggle as I run my hand over her back.
"She's almost as adorable as you," Alex smirks.
"You are the best human in the entire world," I state as I wrap one arm around his waist, Cardi still in the other.
"I love you," he chuckles into my ear.
"I love you, Alex. I don't mean I love you like the way I like my hot cholate with marshmallows or the way I love an extra ten minutes of sleep in the morning or then way I love In-N-Out at two in the morning. I love you in a way that I've never loved anyone before," I utter.
Alex reaches over and takes Cardi from my hand. He slowly sets her down and wraps his arms around my waist. Immediately he pulls me closer to him and lifts up my chin. He sets his lips onto mine as I wrap my arms around his neck, which deepens the kiss. We jump back when Cardi lets out a loud bark.
"Cardi," I giggle as I smile at her.
"Babyyy," Alex chuckles as he picks her up.
I giggle at how cute he is being.
"Hey, I'll take care of her and you go get ready for the day," Alex stated as his eyes sparkled.
"How should I dress?" I ask.
"Anything, I know you'll pull it off."
"Stoppp," I blush as I turn to walk over to the closet.
Cardi lets out a loud bark.
"What?" Alex chuckles.
I giggle as I continue into the bathroom, to get ready for the day.

Once, I was done I walked out into the bedroom.
