Antonio threw the scalpel he'd used to cut open the monster onto the silver cart, which stood next to the examination table. He sighed in relief that the monster didn't wake during his testing; he couldn't deal with that kind of scare. He turned to Landon, who was seated in a chair behind him, tapping away at something on his phone - probably playing a game.

"Hey, thanks a lot for helping," he told the blond man.

"No problem," he said, not taking his concentration away from the phone. He frowned as the intensity of tapping increased.

"You do know I was being sarcastic, right?"

Landon looked up. "Oh, really? I couldn't tell," he smirked.

"Dumbass," Antonio rolled his eyes and sat on a stool that was to his left.

"A smart dumbass, wouldn't you say? Or even hot?"

"Don't push it."

Landon winked, earning him a scoff from Antonio.

"You've written your stupid report already. Why aren't you gone yet?" he gestured to the door.

"Isn't it obvious?" Landon placed his phone into his pocket and stood, walking around Antonio and gripping his shoulders. He bent down and whispered into the man's ear, "I want to make up."

Antonio's body tensed and he sprang up from the stool, turning around to face him. "Whoa, Landon," he said, putting out his arms and backing away.

"What? Come on, you know you want to. I saw you watching me all the while, pretending to be focused on your little monster," Landon said, inching closer to his friend.

"No way! I wasn't looking at you. I was looking at...the computer," he chuckled nervously.

"Mmhmm," was Landon's terse reply as he licked his lips, closing the distance between him and Antonio even more. He was just a few inches away from him and reached out his arms, pulling Antonio closer by his waist and lifting him up to set him on the table behind.

"L-Landon, we're at work!" Antonio whispered into his ear.

"I don't care," he said with a snide tone of voice, nibbling at his ear and rubbing his hands all over his back.

Antonio's heart rate picked up as Landon kissed down his neck, shoving his hands into the back of his jeans and caressing the flesh of his behind. A gasp left his throat when he felt it get a light squeeze.

Landon chuckled at his reaction and pulled away, looking into Antonio's eyes, his yellow irises reminding him of the sunflowers he used to get him for his birthday when they were together. He leaned in to kiss him, only to feel a buzz from his pocket.
