What Happened at the Blood Stone Pack?

"Percival!" Annalise said standing on the bench.

"Izvor!" the tall man leading the group yelled back. Rushing forward he caught Annalise as she jumped into his arms. Kristoff and Petru greeted the other two men as they bowed their heads in respect. It was evident that they all wore jeans and t-shirts that the pack had left in the wood for emergencies because each man stretched there shirts to the limits. Lucy and Alexia could only stare at the burly men, they had never seen men as muscled as this lot and they lived with the brawniest member of the pack.

"What's going on?" Alexia asked from her seat.

"You show much disrespect to remain seated," one of the men with blond hair and blue eyes said glaring at the sisters.

"Check again," Kristoff commanded. Two heads rise as they smelled the air.

"Human!" The man with brown hair and green eyes states. 

"And the other girl is she...." Blondie asked.

"She is alegerea mea," Petru said. As Annalise and Kristoff stared at Petru, the newcomers dropped to one knee.

"Will you excuse us," Kristoff said grabbing his brother by the neck and dragging him outside.

"Lucy, Alexia, I would like you to meet my son, Percy," Annalise said beaming with pride.

"Lucy, Alexia, it is a pleasure to meet you both. I am Percival Raceala the new Alpha of the Shining Watters Pack. These are my most trusted men, Heath, and Paul."

"Let's have a seat," Annalise said sliding into the booth with Lucy and Alexia. The two men took the opposite side as Percival grabbed a chair.

"What is 'alegerea mea'?" Lucy asked.

All eye land on Annalise waiting for her to answer. The men knew that if Lucy had to ask then Petru had yet to discuss the future with her. "It's a great honor given only to those that the highest ranking takes a liking to."

"Nu stie?" Percival asked in Romainian.

"Ea nu este eligibila," Annalise explained. 

"Mai is un partener?" Heath asked.

"She just became old enough to find him," Annalise said

"To find who?" Alexia asked.

"Lucy's mate," Annalise said.

"I know who my mate is," Lucy said looking at her hands in her lap.

"Who?" the entire table asked at once.

"Duston," Lucy whispered.

"Who?" Percival asked.

"The Alphas boy," Annalise clarified.

"Lucy!" Alexia said. "You can't accept him!"

"I don't plan to."

"Then what shall you do?" Percival asked.

"I'm going to reject him tomorrow."

"What's wrong with the boy?" Percival whispered to Annalise.

"How futut is this pack?" Heath asked.

"Atunci Petru o poate alege!" Paul said.

"O nunta regalia in sfarsit!" Heath sighed.

"Wait," Alexia said. "He said, Petru! What does Petru have to do with this?"

"Lucy, listen to me," Annalisa said taking Lucy's hands. "You can't reject Duston, not yet."

"Why?"

"Do you remember that medicine I gave you when we first met?"

"Yes," Lucy said remembering the worst night of her life.

"It's still in your system and will be for the rest of your life." 

"Please tell me you didn't give her Morti vii!" Percival groned.

"Not by choice!" Annalise gritted out. 

"What is 'Mortal Ve'?" Alexia asked 

"It's a poison so deadly that it can kill your mate if you consume it," Heath said. "But I thought that it was only a legend."

"If it's so dangerous then why use it?" Alexia asked.

"Because it can cure any disease or injury, and she gave me no choice," Annalise said.

"How did Lucy give you 'no choice'?" Percival asked.

"She refused to go to the hospital, and her knee was horribly damaged. If I didn't give Lucy Morti Vii, she would have become crippled." Alexia said knowing Lucy to well.

"Whats going on here?" Kristoff said walking back to the table.

"Lucy found her mate," Annalise said.

"What!?" Petru said behind his brother.

"Don't worry, she's not going to accept him," Alexia said.

"Who is it?" Petru asked climbing into the empty booth behind Lucy.

"Duston Saxum," Lucy said as he placed his arms around her.

"You will not accept him," Petru said sternly.

"I know, Alexia just said that."

"I just want you to know that I won't allow it," Petru said placing a kiss on her head.

"I'm calling father," Kristoff said as he marched back out the dinner.

"As enlighting as this evening has been we must be going," Percival said standing as Heath and Paul followed suit.

"Is there anything you need to say to my brother?" Petru asked.

"Just that Full Moon Productions are in the area filming a documentary and Shining Waters Pack are supporting them," Percival said.

"I will pass it on." Percival, Heath, and Paul raised there right fist displaying crossed swords tattoos on their wrist before banging their fist to there chests in the official salute of the royal guard. Petru copied the salute dismissing them for the night.

"What was that about?" Alexia asked.

"We'll discuss this later," Annalise said getting out of the booth.
