Third Person POV

Barry and Hal walked through the park, they had just gotten ice cream and where beginning to make their way home when they got a call.

"Hello?" Hal asked holding the phone to his ear with his shoulder, for he was holding two cones of ice cream. Hal then dropped his ice cream and closed the phone in a hurry. "I'm sorry Barry, I need to go! I'll tell you more about it later!" Hal yelled as he turned to look at Barry and gave him a quick kiss  on the lips, as he immediately ran towards an alley and soon came a green glow leaving the alley. Barry blinked in confusion as he looked at the sky. "What?"

Hal's POV

I hate to leave Barry like that. I really do, but...I have to go. I have to go. I flew through the clouds, the strong winds hitting my face as I flew. I flew to  the Green Lanterns house, otherwise known as John Stewart.

"John, this had better not be a sick idea of a joke." I said walking to him.

John was sitting on his couch with his head in his hands. "I'm not kidding Hal....you seriously need to leave now before they get you." John said looking up to me. "Do you seriously think that they can do that?....you think that they can unleash Parallax?" I asked sitting down looking at John. "I don't know, but if they can then you need to leave earth, you need to leave the Earth until we can stop them." John said with tiered eyes.

I couldn't believe this. They want to u leash Parallax. Parallax is me...but not me. Parallax is a being who can take over my body and make me do...unthinkable things, but I have to willingly give him control in order for that to happen. At least I thought that I had to give him permission for this to happen.

"Leave Hal. You need to leave. You need to leave before they come and get you. You need to leave before they make you hurt your friends and earth, and....Barry. Hal you NEED to leave." John said standing up.

I walked backwards and hit the wall with my back. "Where will I go?" I asked. "To another Lantern base. The location is in your ring."He said. I started to black out,  I have to leave...I have to leave Barry...I have to leave...
