Being a Mikaelson wasn't always easy. Every brother adored you and Rebekah was like your best friend. Niklaus was your favorite though. He's very overprotective when it comes to you and he has never daggered you like he has with your other siblings.

When you arrived in Mystic Falls with Elijah, you ran into the Salvatore's. You hadn't seen Stefan Salvatore in years and seeing him again brought old feelings back so you did what any teenage vampire would do, you gave him his memories of you back to him since before you left him you made him forget about you. You would never had forgiven yourself if your father hurt Stefan in any way.
Ever since Stefan was given his memories back he fell in love with you all over again. The two of you were inseparable and your relationship only grew stronger. Elijah was perfectly ok with it because all he ever wanted was his little sister to be happy, but you were terrified of what Klaus would think.

A month went by and Klaus found his way to the small town and you were frightened. Elijah promised he wouldn't tell your big brother about you and Stefan's relationship and would leave that to you.
Once Klaus found out about you being in Mystic Falls it didn't take long for you to be back by his side. He was your brother after all and betraying him wasn't an option. Even though you loved Stefan, Niklaus was blood and you were not going to break the promise to him all your siblings made all those years ago.

Weeks passed and your love for the younger Salvatore grew more and more. You thought he would hate you since him and Klaus became enemies but you were mistaken. Stefan could never stop loving you no matter what happened.
It was Saturday night, and Stefan took you out for a walk. It was something the two of you loved to do together. You two were talking for hours and enjoying each other's company until Stefan stopped walking, you didn't notice and kept going but when you realized that you were walking alone you turned around. You gasped, Stefan was on one knee smiling at you. You walked back over to him and he took one of your hands in his.
"Y/n, I know our families don't get along but I don't care. I love you more than anything and I want to spend the rest of eternity with you by my side. Y/n Mikaelson, will you marry me?" You were shocked. You had no idea Stefan was going to propose to you and of course you said yes. You loved him with all your heart and wanted nothing more than to spend forever with him, but you knew your family wasn't going to react well when they hear the news, especially Niklaus.
After your moment with Stefan, he walked you home. The two of you were planning on telling your family tonight and get it over with. You opened the door and luckily all your siblings were in the living room. You walked inside holding onto Stefan's hand tightly.
Elijah was the first one to see the two of you and gave you a smile. Klaus was second and smiled when he saw you, but it soon faded when he glanced over in Stefan's direction. "Wha are you doing here?" Klaus yelled and then noticed you holding Stefan's hand. "Get away from my sister!" He shouted again. "Nik, stop" you said causing Klaus to then look at you. "What are you doing with Stefan Salvatore y/n?" Klaus asked and you eyed the rest of your siblings. "We're getting married" you whispered so quietly that everyone in the room had to use their vampire hearing just to hear your statement.
Rebekah reacted first, "oh my god y/n congratulations finally one of us found love and you deserve it" she then wrapped you in a hug and you returned it while thanking her. Elijah smiled at you congratulating you, then Kol kissed your cheek before speaking, "hurt my baby sister and I'll have your head."
Klaus was speechless. He just stood there silent, "Nik? Please say something" you begged but he didn't instead he punched Stefan in the face causing him to stumble backward. You screamed and tried to get Klaus to stop but he wouldn't, he kept hitting Stefan over and over again. Klaus broke a wooden chair and was about to stab him when you sped in front of Stefan causing Klaus to stab you instead. Elijah threw Klaus across the room and caught you before you could fall.
"Y/n, are you alright?" "Yeah, I'll be fine" you said pulling the large piece of wood out of your stomach but nothing happened, you weren't healing. You fell over again and Elijah caught you "I'm not healing" you said. Elijah laid you on the sofa, Stefan ran to your side and Rebekah reentered the room. "What the bloody hell is going on here?" She asked then her eyes landed on you. "Oh my god y/n, what happened?" She asked. You groaned in pain "Klaus was about to stab me but y/n ran in front of me. Klaus stabbed her and she isn't healing" Stefan explained for you. "What the hell is wrong with you Nik? Can't you just let your little sister be happy!" Rebekah screamed. Klaus came by your side. "Here try my blood" Klaus said. The last thing he ever wanted to do was hurt you. "If my blood won't work, I don't think yours will" you groaned. "I'll call Bonnie maybe she'll figure something out" Stefan said exiting the house.
"Why y/n? You could be with anyone and you choose to be with Stefan Salvatore!" Klaus spoke kneeling beside you. "I love him Nik. I've never felt this way about anyone and I thought you would be happy for me. I know you hate him but please try and get along, for me at least" you said taking a deep breath. Klaus nodded and kissed your forehead while Stefan walked back in. "Bonnie's on her way. She said she might be able to figure out what's wrong" Stefan explained. You smiled at him and gave a look towards Klaus hoping he'd give you and Stefan his blessing. "Stefan, I don't like you but it seems my baby sister does, so if you hurt her I will make sure you live a sad and miserable long life" Klaus threatened "but for now if you want to marry y/n, go ahead" Klaus finished causing you to smile wide. "Thank you Nik, thank you so much" you said squeezing his hand. Before Klaus could say anything else Bonnie walked in.

It had been a week since you and Stefan told your siblings about your engagement. Bonnie had figured out why you weren't healing and did a spell to make sure nothing like that would ever happen again. Even though Klaus and Stefan are enemies they have found a way to live with each other only for you. Your other siblings don't mind Stefan being around and have accepted him as well. You couldn't be happier and hope that this lasts forever.
