You had been staying with Caroline for weeks. You missed Tyler but he hurt you and you were trying so hard to forget about him and move on but you couldn't, you were in love with him.
"Y/n, go talk to him" Caroline said walking into the room. "No" you mumbled. "Y/n you're a mess, you haven't gotten out of this house in weeks all you do is eat ice cream and watch tv you need to see him" Caroline explained, you sighed. She was right you needed to see him. "What if he moved on?" You whispered so quietly that without Caroline's vampire hearing she probably wouldn't have heard you. "He's in love with you y/n, it was one mistake" Caroline said. You nodded and got up deciding you would finally talk to him.
You stood outside his front door debating on actually going through with this or not. Before you could knock the door flew open. You stared at the man in front of you. He looked horrible you could tell this was hurting him as much as it was hurting you and all you wanted to do was hug him but you controlled yourself. "Hi" you breathed out. "Hey" he sighed staring at you. "Can we talk?" You asked. Tyler nodded and let you inside. You both sat down and everything you wanted to say before completely disappeared. All you could do was look at him and how broken he looked. "Tyler" you started not being able to form the right words. "I'm sorry" he said before you could say anything. "I know" you sighed.
It was silent for awhile until you finally spoke, "I miss you" once those words escaped your mouth he looked at you. "I miss you too" he said staring into your eyes. At that moment you didn't care about the mistake he made you knew he would never do that to you again, so you wrapped your arms around him and laid your head on his shoulder. He hugged you back and buried his head into the crook of your neck. "I'm so so sorry, baby" he whispered. "I know babe, I forgive you."
