(Link POV)
Mipha and I decided to spend the night in a cave since we hadn't made it back to the Zora's domain before nightfall... It was pretty cold out so set up a campfire inside the cave and waited for the flame to grow a bit bigger. Mipha was shivering so I motioned for her to get closer. She shook her head and shivered.
"Mipha, you need to warm up..." I said with concerned eyes.
"I d-don't w-want to m-move... I-It's t-too c-cold!" Mipha said as she hugged her legs tighter. I sighed and picked her up, carrying her over so she'd be closer to the campfire. She sat in my lap as the fire warmed up the small cave. Mipha soon fell asleep against my chest and I couldn't help but smile down at her sleeping form. Her breathing was slow and her face was peaceful looking. I couldn't help but fall for her... how could I? She was o sweet and gentle and cute... She stole my heart a while back! I looked out of the cave and my eyes widened. It was snowing... Mipha and I would have to walk back in the snow tomorrow... but there was a problem... I didn't have clothes for Mipha to wear for the journey down the mountain... I thought for a while, but I couldn't come up with a solution... Were we going to be stuck here? If so.. How long would we be stuck here? I sighed and took a deep breath to calm myself down. It would all work out... Nothing would happen... right?
When morning came around, the snow was at least a foot thick... We couldn't travel with the clothes we had... not through the frozen environment we were in... When Mipha woke up, I told her the news and she giggled.
"Link... I don't have a problem with the cold! There's a reason there is so much ice in the Zora domain!" Mipha said with a wink. I tilted my head and got dressed in my warm clothing. Mipha took my hand and smiled at me before stepping on the snow. Instead of sinking down into the snow, a patch of ice formed around Mipha's feet. She giggled and stepped completely out of the cave. The ice followed her steps and soon enough, she started sliding down the mountain on the ice path she had created. I followed her, using my shield as a surf board on the smooth ice. We eventually made it back to the Zora domain and were greeted with relief and people glad we were okay. Everyone worried when we weren't back last night, but we were greeted kindly when I brought Mipha home safe. I smiled at Mipha as a crowd of Zoras gathered around us. I gently placed my lips on hers and everyone cheered in excitement.
