*Quick PSA: This chapter is a re-write of the first chapter in this book. I've re-written in due to that chapter being old and my writing skills improving since then. Enjoy!*

**Link POV**

The fight with Ganon had ended and the monsters that plagued Hyrule no longer existed, but that doesn't mean that travelling wasn't without risk. New Bandits, Maraudon Wolves, Woodland Boars, Honeyvore Bears, and much more. Zelda and I had been studying the wildlife and plants around all of Hyrule since Ganon was defeated. We were currently near the Great Fairy Fountain by Kakariko Village and the sun was getting fairly low so we decided it would be safest to head back to the village before it was too dark. When we arrived at Kakariko Village, we were greeted by Paya who looked like she had both a worried and hopeful look on her face. She waved us over and I picked up my pace to make sure that everything was alright. Zelda jogged behind me and, for the first time in what seemed to be ever, Paya spoke confidently.

"Impa has a message from Zora's Domain! Master Link! Zelda! Please come with me!" Paya said without a single stutter.

Zelda and I ran with Paya and opened the doors to Impa holding a letter.

"Teba from Rito Village flew by today and requested that this letter is delivered to the princess and knight urgently. The letter is from the Zora's." Impa said as she handed the letter to princess Zelda. As Zelda read the letter, her eyes got bigger in shock.

"How could this be, Impa? As far as I knew, the Champions never entered the shrine of resurrection!" Zelda said as she looked at Impa with tears in her eyes. I wasn't sure if Zelda was happy or upset, but it was clear that it had something to do with Mipha.

"Mipha was found alive inside the Ne'ez Yohma Shrine. It seems that she had been resurrected. However, no one knows how this has happened. With the length the Champions have been deceased, it shouldn't have been possible for them to be revived." Impa explained. Zelda and I were both in shock at the news, but something in my chest hurt as if I had been punched in the heart. Could Mipha really be alive...?

"Link and I will head towards Zora's Domain immediately. We will travel through our sheika slates to a shrine near the Zora so we don't risk meddling with the Ne'ez Yohma shrine. It's best not to interfere with the Shrine when it's still being researched and examined." Zelda stated as she turned to leave the building. Impa nodded in reply and, with that, Zelda and I made our way to Zora's Domain.
