No Memories (Mipha x Link)

The Kings Wish

(Link POV) 

Once we arrived at the palace, the Zora king was sitting on his throne, waiting for us. He looked extremely happy to see Mipha and I holding hands as we walked and greeted us with his unique laugh. 

"Seems that you two are getting along!" he said as he winked at us. Mipha blushed and looked away shyly. 

"F-Father! Do not speak so boldly!!!" Mipha stuttered adorably. I chuckled and Mipha blushed madly. I looked at King Dorephan and smiled. 

"Your daughter is quite amazing, Sir." I said with a bow. The kings laughed and nodded. 

"I'm glad to hear so! Mipha... your birthday is tomorrow..." the king said. Mipha looked confused about the situation and the kings words and that was when I remembered... Mipha doesn't remember her father... her brother... or anyone else except me... 

"Sir... there is something you must know about lady Mipha..." I started. The kings smile faded as he noticed Mipha's confused state. 

"What is it, Link?" the king asked hesitantly. 

"Mipha... she has... lost her memory..." I said as I looked down. The king was silent for awhile before he spoke with pain in his voice. 

"I fear that would happen... Mipha... my dear daughter..." the king said. Mipha's eyes widened as King Dorephan said with word 'daughter'. 

"You're my father?" Mipha said softly. King Dorephan nodded as Sidon walked in sadly. 

"And I am your brother..." Sidon said softly. Mipha looked at both of them and blinked twice. 

"I don't understand... why... can't I remember you?" Mipha said sadly as she started to tear up. King Dorephan looked away sadly and Sidon sniffled as tears dropped off his cheeks and onto the floor. 

"The Chamber of Rebirth... does not always keep your memory... in fact... it rarely does..." Sidon said sadly. Mipha looked confused again as she turned to me and sniffled sadly. 

"Then why did I remember a few things about Link?" she said before turning to her father with tear filled eyes. Her father's eyes widened and so did Sidon's. 

"You remembered Link?" King Dorephan asked in disbelief. Mipha put her hands together and looked down. 

"I remember a few moments we shared but... not many..." Mipha said sadly. 

"My poor Mipha..." King Dorephan said before he looked down sadly. "I only wish... that you find your memories..." the king said. Mipha was now crying and she fell to her knees. I knelt down in front of Mipha and put my hand on her head. She looked up at me since I was slightly taller then her and she wiped her tears away. I smiled at her and she stared at me, wonder struck. 

"Don't worry... we'll get your memories back, Mipha...." I said before I kissed her forehead. She blushed and nodded before looking at her father and brother. 

"You are my family... and I will treat you that way even if I don't remember who you are!" Mipha said as she held back tears again. Sidon nodded as he held back tears and her father nodded as well. 

"We love you, Mipha..." King Dorephan said, on the verge of crying as well. It was going to be a ling journey to recover Mipha's memories but we were both determent to find them all.
