P is for Procrastinating.
I have a bad habit of procrastinating. Whenever I have something due, I put it off until the last minute. Whether it’s a huge project, or just a small current event, I will wait until the night before it’s due to finish it. I come up with every excuse I can to not do my work. I’ll say I have to clean my room, or spend forever doing something that takes five minutes. Even if I sit down and say I’m going to work on it, I get side tracked. Eventually, this method catched up to me, and I’ll have a ton of stuff to do in one night. Then I have to spend my free time working on it, and it’s not very fun.
If it’s a project I like, I won’t procrastinate at all. I will get it done way before it’s due. But if the topic doesn’t interest me, I put it off until I absolutely have to do it. This isn’t good, because most of the time I won’t be interested in whatever the project is about. Or I just won’t be in the mood to work. Then I’ll have no choice but to spend a long time working.
Life Lesson: Don’t procrastinate, it’ll catch up to you.
